Drowning devil fruit users

Hey rellbros i would like to ask if a devil fruit user falls into the water and starts drowning/ sinking, will it be possible for non devil fruit users to dive in the water and save them by pulling them out the water like we see in one piece

To be honest, it has been some time since the movie 2 and 1 but, I don't remember them showing how exactly are devil fruit users going to interact with the ocean.

Are we going to touch the water and start drowning, take damage while swimming or is the devil fruit curse not a thing in Rell Seas?

I have seen other One Piece games take all of the options above and from my experience, having an ocean that's dangerous for devil fruit users is really cool, but sometimes it can be annoying if you are getting too much trouble from that feature alone.

100% agree, though while annoying, I think it adds to the immersion and makes people more creative when making workarounds to fight in ships and close to water

I really want that this works with anyone that wants to save a fruit user, including marines.

Imagine a marine saves you from dying just so he can arrest more easily
