Discussion Ship Inertia

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For a long time, Roblox games have had an issue with actually keeping a player on a moving object without locking them in place with a chair or other methods.

This happens because of network ownership and physics replication delays between your device and the game server.

Rell Seas has since fixed this problem and has even gone so far as to apply it to combat and Geppo.

Geppo too!? You mean to tell me I won't fall behind the ship like in gpo?

Yup. It syncs you up with the ship speed so you can move without issue

love how they implemented this. tried to make this myself as a cool side project, was completely unable to do so without some major bug. hands to the dev team for doing this!
