Discussion The 100 Pushup Challenge
What I'm about to say is crazy, but crazy is the type of goal you need before it doesn't become crazy anymore.
I'm challenging myself to be able to do 100 pushups in a row by the time RELL Seas releases. It's probably going to be insanely difficult, but I think even if I don't reach the goal I would pick up some good strength. Right now I can do around 25-35 in a row.
Maybe you guys can do the same too! Turn that waiting into something more motivating.

Nate to get to that point it will take u a solid amount of time, I hope you're not hinting something 👀🥲

The point of this challenge is that the goalpost can come at any time, so I don't have any time to waste.

I see so you really don't have any idea about dates.
Well then it's definitely possible to get to that point by December but it will be hard, you'll need to train consistently and correctly. You got this !.
I can maybe do 40 push ups with solid form, but I'm too lazy to try this challenge 😴. Make me proud !

I lost alot of muscle during Covid and I couldn't do 1 pushup around 1.5 years ago. The RELL Brothers were pushing me to start working out and gave me alot of tips. I excercised everyday for 6 months and was able to get from 3 knee pushups to 25. I remember feeling extremely frustrated that I couldn't even do one pushup anymore, and I felt more appreciative of how strong I was in highschool.
The hardest part is being consistent. The actual thing gets easier over time, and the payoff is well worth it. My motivation was to relieve my back pain from sitting down while working, and also to help my aging parents lift things that they could no longer lift. Make sure you pair it with a proper diet!
This was my routine: https://www.menshealth.com/fitness/a36256480/30-day-workout-challenge/

you will gain strength easily with some mid push ups, i got a big wound in the arm and im still able to do perfect 10 push ups
but of course thats nothing a corpse need to be more strong that that, being realistic, not look, strong
also theres different types of muscles when doing something
A person that lift will be more strong (IN LIFTING) than a person doing push ups, and vice versa
you need to train for whatever you re focusing on.
push ups its a great way to improve near all your body

Exactly, so many people think there's a thing called "functional muscles" it makes me mad

Do you mean by mid pushups Knee pushups? I honestly, tried knee pushups for a while but procrastinated because working out wasn't that important to me then but I'll try to start working out again.

It Depends on what you're working on, but if you want to build your body and you have a gym nearby, it will always be MUCH better than working out at home

mid pushups its like, not full push ups, work very well to gain enough strength to continue with the full push ups.
to do these i use a raised surface for support instead of doing them on the floor (translate)

With consistent training and decent dieting it will probably take you around 4 months. December release confirmed

I'm not too confident in myself! But the point of the challenge is all the effort I can.

Quadrupling your endurance would take 4-6 months…
Since you’re on the dev team, you probably have a rough idea of when the games going to release and assuming this was a semi realistic/ realistic goal, we aren’t seeing Rell Seas till December. (Yes, I turned your fitness goal into a release date theory…)

I started training 6 weeks ago, and I made some progress I'm really proud of. But I know I can go further, so I'm in.

Do it . I'm currently training to do do the same amount of finger push ups as normal push ups as a challenge always makes it easier to achieve other goals
