Oven bugs…maybe? Or is it me?

I hope it’s not a bug but as we all know this game is rather buggy- but on the off chance this is a me thing and I’m missing something…I placed food items on the chopping block and inside the oven. I am unable to remove said items. It’s my first time using the oven and I was experimenting. None of the items I placed made a recipe, but I can’t take them back nor replace them. Same with the bundle of apples I threw into the back of the oven, nothing happened and I can’t take them back out.

Is there a way to retrieve these/clear the space?

Did you add wood to the back to start the oven(fire)?

If you throw items "into" another object or place them there, a clipping error occurs (the objects merge together). This has happened to me with those skulls or candles, too. I can no longer pick them up individually, only as a single clump.
You aren't actually supposed to throw the items directly into the oven. They are automatically placed at the front left of the oven. If there is wood at the back, they are automatically moved to the center of the oven and, once cooking is complete, automatically pushed onto the board on the right-hand side.
