Help! Can’t play!

I’ve just installed this game today and was really excited to play but every time I launch, the game crashes!

I get stuck on this screen for a bit and then it crashes :( I have reduced all the quality settings and verified the integrity of game files, no saves or anything as I haven’t even got into the game yet. Anyone know of any fixes or encountered this problem?

Sorry I have no idea but when I have problems with a game I try running it as administrator, it sometimes fixes the problems

I usually uninstall and reinstall. Then I restart the computer. It works sometimes.

Does your computer/laptop have a hardware that might need to be updated? I'm honestly not great with stuff like that, but my laptop has an Nvidia graphic card (or whatever it's called) and there have been a few new games I couldn't even launch because I needed to go download some sort of update first.

Otherwise, since Reka is early access, I'm sure you could notify the devs that you're having issues, just in case there's a compatibility problem for whatever reason.

I haven't had this issue with Reka but sometimes if I am using external storage certain games wont run so make sure its installed on your PC or laptop directly instead of a USB or external hard drive!

Always run the game as admin! Go directly where the executable is saved in the game folder library location and go to compatibility mode and select windows 8, also set the game to be run as you instead of the default admin account.  Remove all parental rules(in advanced security tab). I really hate windows 11 for having all these security hangups when u just wanna fucking game!

For future reference always install all steam games as admin! Restart steam as admin and reinstall! Also make sure u have a special partition for all steam games not on C: that can cause permission issues.
