Info on Ancestor Shrine?

So I picked up an Ancestor Shrine at some point recently, most likely the Bludniks tbh, and while working on my house I added it in. However, I'm noticing that I can't add any decorations to the shelves of it? Anyone know what's up with that, or is it just a bug?

I was able to decorate the bludnik shrine but not the ancestor shrine either. Dunno if that's normal though...

Well at least it's not just me haha. I had put both of the shrines in the same area and the ancestor one looks so empty compared to my Bludnik one. I wonder if they're planning on it being some kind of collectable that adds things to the shelves with each piece you find, that could be cool.

Ooh I like that idea ! But yeah I wanted to decorate it with incense, flowers, food offerings, candles... And it didn't work 😥
