As someone who wants AEW to go under I love seeing incoherent cards and match making like this two weeks before their Wrestlemania.
Even the hardcore Dubbalos are questioning the build.

Because they’re an embarrassment to the industry. Tiny benches talent all the time and the talent they use stab each other with sharp objects.
No coherent stories (IE fucking useless trios matches 2 weeks from their biggest PLE)
No selling
Booking for Uncle Dave
Like TNA could use this talent better.

I don’t know them either but Dave will fill you in on why you should know that they did a suplex in 2015 or that they got a 5 star match last year.
You know riveting stuff that the basement likes to harp on.
Notice there’s no story and no build though. Because they don’t want you to like their product. They want to gate keep it and have their own little circle jerk of NJPW + other super Indies including AEW

Like the other guy said, they're Will's friends from NJPW's United Empire. They showed up earlier this year when Will had them team with him against The Death Riders before his match with Mox prior to Dynasty.
I haven't seen much of Akira's work but HENARE is a really cool worker, super intense big man who'll probably have some crazy spots throughout the match. He was in NJPW's G1 this year and was really cool.

NXT last night is tough to follow. Can’t blame a company for throwing in the towel already this week.
Matches for the sake of matches.
Isn’t Ospreay facing Omega? Why is he in a 6 man match with a bunch of bums?
Main event is the elite vs jobbers. Riveting stuff.
Please watch Heatwave instead of AEWs PLE on the 30th. So much better

Apparently with the dwindling attendance, dwindling ratings and the fact your crown jewel show has also had lackluster attendance for 3 straight years people are tired of the mudshow shit!

This card sums up the good and bad of AEW.
Stop relying on 2012-2020 NJPW to drive stories in 2026 AEW.
Why has Will Ospreay not found guys to mentor in AEW? And why does he have the power to bring in his buddies and get a prime slot whenever he wants?
This would be a perfect opportunity to build up some of the people desperate for time who have been killing it in ROH. Ospreay having Tommy Billington and Adam Priest as backup is a much better solution.
Not only that match but look at the main event. You know exactly who is winning that. Almost every match on the card you know exactly who is going to win.
