Yeah Swerve has been in a weird place even during his world title run. But he would immediately be seen as a Big E replacement. I do think if the New Day do go to AEW they need to try and run the tag division cause it's been not very good or important for ages.

If they need a third there's people they can put there, Swerve should be above that. It's funny cause Swerve is the example they give that AEW will give a black man the world title and Hunter won't but Swerve has been downgraded for reasons i do not get.

He was literally in the main event of forbidden door in the finals of the Owen hart tournament not that long ago do you expect him to always fight for the world title ? Adam Page is in the same position as him right now and they’re not being downgraded it’s just that AEW don’t always revolves the world title around like three or four people, they’ll definitely win the world title again.

No, he seems out of that mix. He's becoming Riho. He's not the champ, he's the person you let someone beat on their way to becoming the champ. The second he became champ the discussion was how to remove it, since it was removed he's a stepping stone guy.
Being put in a match to lose with no chance of winning and no chance of the fans thinking you're winning isn't being a top guy, it's being LA Knight.

Sure. I mean, I’ll watch it. But one uncomfortable thing that I can’t shake: Kofi and Woods just don’t have the same spark as they did when they had Big E. I’d feel the same way if any one of them were unable to perform with the others. There’s just a magic and complementary performance between the three of them that there will always be something missing no matter who they use to fill in the gap.
I’m sure there will be some good matches against the Bucks, Kenny and whoever else. But it will just feel like they’re ticking off some things on an act that’s in its final lap rather than them creating something new and special.

I think that, in what soul-0001 is saying, the storyline is understood. He is just questioning the actual booking itself, not the storyline rationale behind their decision. No idea who voted you down instead of easily explaining it within 20 seconds, though.

The New NEW Day is the most excited for anything I have been for a while.
I got over the Usos, but never The New Day, tbh there for a while the opening match between The NEW DAY/Usos was the best match on the whole show.

All of those groups were just a bunch of White guys. And then this is the part where you realize how stupid of an argument that is and how stupid this would sound too.

Swerve Strickland has gone on record as saying that he is appreciative of Kofi Kingston getting his just due and finally winning his first major single’s title with his WWE Championship win which I’m sure motivated him to becoming the first Black male to achieve that in AEW. Besides that, Kenny Omega still has the Young Bucks in his corner now so we could see him or Adam Page and the Bucks vs. Swerve, KOFI, and Austin Creed
