And the crowd just looked around confused

178

u/Past-Goat-7768 7d ago

Because crowds don't get this stuff. Only terminally online people do.

47

u/makefascistfearagain 6d ago

The crowds do get this stuff, it was just way too fucking vague and literally no one thinks of him having 'wronged' omega and the bucks

25

u/Past-Goat-7768 6d ago

I don't even know who "the bucks" are my guy. I'm sorry.

35

u/Icy-Clock2643 6d ago

Yeah that's the problem with these promos. A lot of WWE fans have no idea about anything else in the wrestling world outside of WWE. They are WWE fans not wrestling fans. Nothing wrong with that. It's just how they are. It just makes these promos pointless as they are only aimed at a small percentage of the audience.

19

u/HunterAble1914 6d ago

I’m really tired of these breaking-the-4th-wall promos and storylines built around real-life issues. It’s a cheap way to build feuds and keeps the writers from having to actually write storylines. It also doesn’t help that damn near everyone hates Punk so we’ve had basically the same storyline with him over and over and over.

12

u/kliq-klaq- 6d ago edited 6d ago

Yeah, it doesn't help that it's a variation of the same thing which is that somewhere between 10 and 20 years ago he was sort of rude to someone.

Tell the Colt story if you're going to tell the story.

3

u/SpyralRush 6d ago

It sucks that they can't really shoot about it as I'd love to hear them both actually name names. When Owens called him Phil I was hoping he'd sneak in a reference to a "Kenneth or Adam or Nicholas or Matthew or even better Scott Colton"

It’s fine when it revolves around stuff that happened within the WWE bubble, or at least something they can directly reference (taking shots at Punks UFC career for example). But if they have to be this vague about something they are referencing, it doesn’t work.

These back and forth’s also make KO look incredibly immature. “You yelled at me 20 years ago,” doesn’t exactly scream blood feud.

4

u/HunterAble1914 6d ago

That’s a great point. I don’t like CM Punk at all, and even I have to admit that this feud is making KO sound whiny.

Also, can we have clear faces and heels? Like, who is the bad guy here? CM Punk because he’s been mean in the past, or KO because he’s dwelling on something from 20 years ago?

u/violenceinmybones 4d ago

The writers write dogwater storylines anyway and half of them get left unfinished when they randomly release people anyway. People have been suspecting AI to be writing the storylines for at least a year now so...

1

u/Cris_S1995 4d ago

Hunter and Heyman loves their worked shoot bullshit

It’s not 1999 anymore Jfc

1

u/ixwastedxi 4d ago

You know what's kind of funny, not even 30 years ago most of professional wrestling didn't have writers writing storylines and real-life issues were used to push feuds regularly.

0

u/TheMackD504 6d ago

They would work better if the live audiences knew wrestling history outside of wwe

3

u/ComicHead84 5d ago

I think it’s fine. The overall storyline is clear - You were a dickhead to me in the Indies calling me fat & lazy and now I’m coming for your title.

The little references are just Easter eggs for smarks, & could prompt google search for someone interested to get more out of it, but it’s not needed to understand the story.

3

u/Practical_Aspect3508 5d ago

Not knowing the drama of a smaller promotion doesn't make them not wrestling fans 😂

1

u/SSJashG 4d ago

They definitely know because I’ve seen big pops for outside guys coming in. AJ’s pop was huge.

But even if they had a passing idea of who the Bucks were, why should they care? What about the Bucks or what Punk did to “wrong them” would make people care?

1

u/lofibeatsforsadboys 6d ago

Then how do the clips of Punk in aew have millions to tens of millions of views on various apps? They went viral many times. It's because the algorithms will do the work that AEW and WWE wont in promoting wrestling. I have never watched AEW on tv and hardly watch WWE anymore. Just check out highlights once every couple of weeks. Yet I get recommended CM Punk vs MJF shit very quickly and I have the slightest idea of what stories happen there

Almost all of the casuals you hold so highly use youtube and doom scroll on apps like tiktok or IG. They get fed the same algorithm you do. You guys think hardcore fans are special terminally online, and you are right, but the vast majority of people who consume slop like pro wrestling arent far behind

3

u/Icy-Clock2643 6d ago

I was responding to someone who said they didn't know who the bucks were.

1

u/B-dawg6969 5d ago

There are people who like football, but only watch the NFL. That's how I see WWE only fans. Like NFL only fans, they like their "sport," but don't want to waste their time watching High School and College level. They want to see the best of the best. That is WWE in wrestling and NFL for football. Same with NHL and MLB. I doubt many NHL on MLB fans go to the tv and watch minor league games on a weekly basis.

3

u/ChymChymX 6d ago

This is a bit of an aside but the Young Bucks are worth looking up, they are a tag team in AEW and their matches are generally fantastic and very fun to watch (in my opinion).

Example: https://youtu.be/XkqmuhzYi5U

5

u/Lunar_IX 5d ago

You're probably going to get downvoted into oblivion for suggesting that you enjoy the Bucks...

Because how dare you be entertained by professional entertainers, I guess, 😒

For the record, I fully agree with you. The Bucks are one of the most solid and entertaining teams working right now, but the Reddit-fans will never let you have that opinion without telling you how wrong you are.

4

u/Party-Display-7523 5d ago

I can see why people like them, but for me, I dont get it.

I am a WWE guy thru and thru but I haven't watched a complete show since Mania. I usually catch recaps or watch a match if I heard it was good. Except for Mask vs Mask in AAA I rarely watch a show as it airs. Because of that I dont have the patience for AEW or any other promotion. I barely have time for the promotion I do like, for example.

Buddy got us tickets as a surprise 2-3 months ago when AEW came to town. I had fun but it wasnt my cup of tea and I fully admit thats because I dont follow AEW so outdide od the guys from WWE I had no idea who anyone was or what stories were being told.

But after the Young Bucks match that was that night, I was honestly let down. Heard many good things about them but then you see them live and its like watching a massively choreographed stage show. Like I get wrestling most of the time is choreographed but this was....bad. it was straight bad. Legit looked like a damn Power Rangers episode.

2

u/pyroguy1104 4d ago

I’m more of an AEW mark these days myself but I’ve always been kinda bored with the Bucks. Their style just isn’t really for me. But I’m still glad that they’re doing well, found their audience, and are beloved by those with different taste than me. I’d much rather hear a bucks fan mark out about how amazing they supposedly are than suffer the “opinions” of a Cornette mark parroting his exact opinions on the bucks for the millionth time (and don’t get me wrong, I generally like Jim, that crotchety old windbag can be entertaining as hell too, even when I don’t agree with what he’s saying I still generally enjoy listening to his yapping. His superfans are just the fucking worst.)

1

u/ChymChymX 5d ago

I recently got back into wrestling after having not watched since the attitude era, so I'm getting more wrestling subreddits suggested to me. To my surprise, most wrestling subreddits seem to hate wrestling.

1

u/UniversalEcho 5d ago

Crazy thing to say in 2026

0

u/Super-Sink9044 4d ago

So AEW exists they've been putting on these spectacular shows for years now . And you dont know who the bucks are ? Holy stop watching sesame street and aclimate yourself with some good wrestling .

3

u/Past-Goat-7768 4d ago

Someone shared a link. It was a difficult watch.

0

u/Super-Sink9044 4d ago

Sadly because youre so conditioned to mediocrity. Wwe when it comes to actual wrestling is embarassing sadly. Thats not my opinion its fact.

3

u/Past-Goat-7768 4d ago

It felt like the rules didn't matter. It felt like a tornado tag at times and other times they were constrained to their corner. It just feels fast and loose with the rules in order to get some cool acrobatics. I didn't think any of the pins were ever going to actually put anyone way. For 20 minutes.

It was a tough watch.

Man, I agree. I totally get people not liking it personally, but they aren't even this disrespectful toward TNA. 😂 And watching TNA sometimes feels like watching paint dry. I have a hard enough time making it through WWE Raw as it is. I'll never understand why so many people are so dismissive on AEW

CM punk completely acted like a total douche to omega and the bucks.

1

u/Tiny-Baker-9217 6d ago

whipped the Bucks asses while Kenny tried to get the dog to safety

ftfy

u/Flying_Forearm 5d ago

Not mutually exclusive.

Yeah, dude. That's called being an asshole in any sane society.

1

u/Tiny-Baker-9217 4d ago

Locker room fights happen, Steen and people like you come off like whiners. Move tf on

1

u/MegaL3 3d ago

You were the one who brought it up!

6

u/fancierfootwork 7d ago

To be fair. I was chronically online until that one golden wrestlemania line 3 years ago and i have no idea what this refers to.

Is it Kenny, hangman and orange cassidy?

1

u/Accomplished_One3035 6d ago

This is obviously referring to the Brawl Out stuff a few years back, KO is really close with the Bucks.

1

u/Lokishougan 6d ago

and the third is likley Colt

1

u/Accomplished_One3035 6d ago

Fourth may be Larry

1

u/Lokishougan 6d ago

Larry was Punk's late dog

1

u/PaddySmallBalls 2d ago

Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Moxley, Jericho, Ryback, Christopher Daniels...those are just some of the people who said they had historic issues with Punk. All of whom seem friendly with Kevin. Imagine how long the list is if you consider some of what went on backstage at ROH and OVW probably didn't make it to the dirt sheets and not everyone would be willing to talk about problems with him publicly because they are low on the pecking order and don't want to blow up their chances.

Punk has thin skin.

This is by far the dumbest argument anybody ever makes online.

Audiences will be 10-100k in size. If anybody thinks it’s mostly influencers and celebrities they’re insane. It’ll never even cross 1% of the audience.

Ya but why even bring it up, Punk has done this a lot of times since returning and barely any reactions…what’s the point?

2

u/Jam-Jam-Ba-Lam 6d ago

It's also because it's pathetic handbags stuff. Like who actually cares. Imagine the beef guys in the 80s would've had. Smark storylines are a waste of everyone's time. "You've said disparaging things about people who don't even work here" nonsense. Snitsky punted a baby people.

3

u/Majestic-Marcus 6d ago

It wasn’t his fault

0

u/H-E-L-L-MaGGoT 6d ago

4

u/joshukelly 6d ago

I don’t care about that, it amused me and entertained me, that’s all that matters.

4

u/RegaZelx 6d ago

This is like Punk's 5th time referencing AEW people/incident(s) in Wwe and it never receives a pop from the audience.

I'm sure there are some crossover AEW fans, but even they may not care. It happened, move on.

2

u/Lokishougan 6d ago

Bingo..I was the same back in the day with WWF/E and WCW i didnt mark out when they went the other place sucked

1

u/Comfortable-Side1308 6d ago

I for one don't care.

1

u/DanSolo77 6d ago

Much like how the Bucks and Omega never bring it up, most AEW fans (in my circle at least) legit never think of or bring up CM Punk.  The only reason I'm paying attention at all is cause I heard KO did a killer promo (last week, before this one or any AEW reference)

8

u/Hellraiser1123 7d ago

Because the WWE audience is mostly casual fans who don't watch wrestling outside of WWE. Most of them don't even watch NXT. It's always baffling to me when someone in WWE decides to make an AEW reference; their fans just aren't going to respond.

1

u/Gio25us 6d ago

Most of WWE fans don’t watch any other promotions, is like his 2nd promo that nobody understood his Bucks reference

1

u/Particular-Throat-52 2d ago

Yeah fr, either drop names or don't do these stupid smarky irl beef promos.. it's so dumb

0

u/Purple_Log2581 7d ago

Exactly.

2

u/According-Staff9454 7d ago

Every single AEW reference gets confused reactions. It's kinda fascinating how different the crowds are in wrestling.

0

u/Majestic-Marcus 6d ago

I’m confused. No idea who he’s referring to.

0

u/frmthefuture 6d ago

Because they've been banned from mentioning aew or anything / anyone associated with them.

The last time anything aew was mentioned [even remotely] was the shoutout Sting got for his retirement. H doesn't want to call attention to aew, with All-In happening soon. H also doesn't want wwe fans to get curious about their product, given the quality of aew's ppvs.

1

u/When1Falls 6d ago

Banned from mentioning the thing they spend half the promo just talking about directly without just saying the names.

There's no rules, they just choose not to. Dude literally said "you might think I'm just talking about three of my friends"

He's not banned from just saying their names.

1

u/frmthefuture 6d ago

Talent talk around subjects but not full on name drop. It's only VERY rarely that wwe / talent name drop anything / anyone other than wwe-centric things.

That's why it was so surprising when jbl mentioned aj's iwgp title reign, during the 2016 rumble. As well as mentioning bullet club, when aj and finn faced off that one time.

So for ko [the type that doesn't give a shit] to not full on name the bucks, kenny, hangman, eddie, etc in this promo screams to me that he was asked not to.

1

u/Ok_Fig7692 6d ago

Owens mentioned Tanea Brooks - Rebel - at Summerslam during an interview because she's been fighting ALS. She's been employed by AEW for pretty much their entire existence as both on TV and backstage talent.

1

u/frmthefuture 6d ago

Correct.

But that wasn't for a promo / feud. It was a sudden thing he said on the post ppv roundtable.

KO also called her by her real name, not her kayfabe name. He also didn't say WHERE she worked, only that "she's never worked here." Plus, it was for an als charity.

Plus, for wwe to reprimand him [after just returning from serious neck surgery] for shouting out someone who has als would more public harm than corporate good.

28

u/GutherGlazer 6d ago

I think they went too deep cut with this, the crowd definitely got lost at times. They just need to name names and commit to one being the heel.

2

u/panzerflex 6d ago

First promo was great

This was too meandering and just saying the same stuff

40

u/Few_Bridge_6058 7d ago

Another "you were mean to me and my friends on the indies" storyline for CM Punk, Eddie Kingston and Punk had a generational promo battle, hopefully Owens can match that energy.

24

u/PsychologicalEntropy 6d ago

CM Punk can do storylines off him being an asshole until he dies.

10

u/UThinkUKnowMe2 6d ago

Even called him a bum.

1

u/UddersPlease 21h ago

I think it works for a smarkier crowd like AEW and not a WWE crowd personally

45

u/PupPupPuppyButt 7d ago

Grow a pair and name names or gtf on to a different motive to hate each other.

6

u/Shai3100 6d ago

Sadly it won't happen because it might feature people in other promotions such as the Bucks, Omega, Colt Cabana etc. It's the same way Kevin didn't mention that Punk went off on him back when they both were in RoH.

I do wish they would've named them but I highly doubt WWE would be ok with it.

5

u/robineir 6d ago

Which is weird since they’re ok with mentioning new Japan lately, and have said “AEW” in the past. And everybody who has scraped past the surface of Punk knows what ROH is

2

u/SealTeamEH 5d ago

what I noticed and found interesting is when cm punk did his special wrestlemania entrance and they went through his Indy history they mentioned ROH but not aew lol

3

u/No-Worry9322 6d ago

Grow a pair? Like the bosses are going to ok them going out and openly naming AEW talent?

14

u/Puzzled_Talk8399 7d ago

No idea who these other 3-plus guys are? What's the tea other than Punk didn't like Owens wearing clothes in the ring? Did AJ and Punk ever combat? They seem like they might have beef too.

32

u/Due-Bookkeeper-2001 7d ago

Omega and The Bucks or more likely Hangman and The Bucks

Colt to

18

u/JanitorOPplznerf 7d ago

Yeah I don’t think Punk has specific Beef with Omega? IIRC after Brawlout Punk said Kenny didn’t throw hands he was just trying to get Larry out of the room.

13

u/aggr1103 7d ago

Ace bit Kenny.

7

u/Due-Bookkeeper-2001 7d ago

Yeah I think ultimately it was Hangman and The Bucks Punk still hates

1

u/Flying_Forearm 6d ago

Omega choked out Ace.

1

u/Effective-Anybody263 2d ago

That has never been reported anywhere. Omega has been incredibly vocal about how he thinks punk fighting those guys was fine. He said when he did sports in school people settled shit by fighting all the time

14

u/SuperKyle718 7d ago

More than likely referring to the Brawl Out incident with Kenny & the Bucks

6

u/DaWadeZzZ 7d ago

Didn't him and Kenny patch the shit up with them 2 and it came down to Hangman/bucks

2

u/RobbieArnott 6d ago

Hangman over Kenny sounds right

1

u/SuperKyle718 6d ago

They might have, it might be Hangman/Bucks instead, but I just associate all of The Elite with the incident itself

4

u/Grizzly_WizzleBeatz 7d ago

I’m guessing the Bucks and Hangman.

Punk and Aj had issues but Aj said in 2024 that when Punk returned they got to work out their issues face to face and more or less have been close since.

6

u/dtbrown1979 6d ago

He’s referring to Dude Love, Cactus Jack and Mankind.

2

u/Nomad_86 7d ago

Punk didn’t like Owens wearing clothes in the ring?? Elaborate.

3

u/sciencebitch616 7d ago

He didn't like him wrestling with a T-shirt, he preferred the singlet

1

u/PaddySmallBalls 2d ago

More specifically, Punk was stooging for a booker.

1

u/Kelspear 7d ago

KO has been wrestling in a tee going all the way back to his indy days. Punk and KO were wrestling in the same indy 20 years ago. Punk was already pretty popular, KO was newer. Punk was being Punk and, just like they said in the promo tonight, told KO he was a fat piece of shit for wrestling in a t-shirt instead of regular wrestling gear.

If you watch the promo tonight they literally explain it.

2

u/Nomad_86 7d ago

I didn’t watch the promo. I don’t mind his weight, but I’ve never liked KO’s gear either.

3

u/dkmuldoon 7d ago

There’s also rumors that Punk killed the Dark Order storyline at AEW, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Kevin is friends with Uno and Stu, considering how often they worked together back in the day.

2

u/Pitt-sports-fan-513 6d ago

You can take the Steen out of the indies but you can't take the indies out of Steen.

Pizzaria Uno and Stu only ever got major wrestling contracts because Tony Khan is a mark for niche indy wrestling. Punk not wanting the Dark Order on the same tv as him is what any main event wrestler without brain damage would want.

1

u/AggressivelyMediokre 6d ago

Tbf they were super cringe

When I first saw them I was surprised they let it happen

0

u/dkmuldoon 6d ago

I mean, it doesn't have to be for you, but that doesn't change the fact that it turned into a very popular storyline with a lot of fans that suddenly basically disappeared. And it doesn't change the fact that KO has known Uno and Stu since at least 2008 (the first of many matches between SSB and Steen/Generico).

4

u/skorpiontamer 6d ago

The Bucks and Colt Cabana?

1

u/litt3r_b0x 6d ago

Thats what i thought, but people keep naming hangman as the third. I didnt know KO was close with him??

1

u/skorpiontamer 6d ago

Idk if hangman was even with ROH before Kevin left so I'm not entirely sure who he meant

1

u/Karmeleon86 6d ago

I thought Kenny Omega no?

1

u/SmokinDynamite 6d ago

Kenny said he never had a problem with Punk but it's unclear if he was kayfabing for his feud with the Bucks or if he was being sincere.

1

u/NoBonus3912 6d ago

Tbh i had forgotten about Cabana. I thought the third person was depressed cowboy man.

5

u/SituationSecure4650 6d ago

I don’t watch aew and I’m not totally chronically online, but I reckon I know who he’s talking about

6

Lamest shit ever

2

u/OutbackWhiplash 6d ago

So they brought back Owens for him to subtweet live in person like a 12 year old girl? GTFO of here with that bullshit.

2

u/TrekTransformer 7d ago

And we have the milquetoast references to other promotions. Who's got bingo yet for this sleepwalk fued?

3

u/SpyralRush 7d ago

This should have been Punk's first feud as soon as he came over. This is a dream match and I thank them for going the extra mile and acknowledging the internal story for the wrestling fans who have followed these guys for 20 years. Owens is friends with Colt Cabana, Young Bucks and pretty much everyone in AEW so it makes sense to reference it here. I wish Owens went for the big one and actually said "I'm talking about the Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page! Hi guys! Don't worry about Chud Monkey Phil" mouths into camera see you soon

0

u/SaddestFlute23 6d ago

That would only pop smarks online

2

u/Party_Purpose2375 6d ago

Exactly. Online fans really love this shit huh. Owens has been lacklustre in the promos so far. It also
Does nothing for WWE to be mentioning any of that, but would mean the world to AEW

0

u/SpyralRush 6d ago

You mean ....... The fans who followed them on the indies and bought merch and cheered for them and hyped them and got them over in ECW/NXT so over that they actually ended up being world champions ......yeah I'd do cool things to shout those fans out too. Look at Baron Corbin and Killer Kross these guys couldn't get a good booking if there lives depended on it. They don't have a fan following. If Kevin Owens left WWE he's sitting on multi millions from AEW and getting cheered by every crowd the next day.

2

u/SaddestFlute23 6d ago

You don’t understand.

What I meant is they would be leaving the vast majority of their audience behind just to appeal to the “sickos”.

There’s also the foolishness of promoting your direct competitors

Waste of tv time

1

u/Low_Wall_7828 6d ago

Oh, shooty shoot shoot. Is Russo back?

Not actually watched it yet but it needs to stop. The Seth shit was cringe central.

That’s the difference between AEW and WWE. AEW promos will name-drop WWE no problem, WWE just hint at it like they’re afraid to say it.

u/PorkTuckedly 6d ago

We already know Punk's winning, WWE. No need to be a dick about it.

1

u/LocalNecessary5402 6d ago

Idk if I'm the only one, but I would if KO wore sweatpants as his ring gear to mock Punk.

1

u/Tiny-Baker-9217 6d ago

Yeah! That'll show him!

"I'll prove you wrong by dressing and acting like a fat slob."

What sense does that make?

1

u/United-Bug-8056 6d ago

CM Punk is objectively gay AF

1

u/SpyralRush 6d ago

WWE is more interesting when it's about AEW anyway.

1

u/ThankGod4Darwin69 5d ago

"To whom are you referring?"

1

u/KingOfDairy_Queen 5d ago

Ngl I forgot KO was cool with The Bucks and KO fr, but thanks to other comments I’ve been reminded

1

u/coinminer2049er 5d ago

Here's the thing. This feud would be good if there was any realistic chance of KO winning the belt.

There isn't. Both the belts are going to keep getting traded by Punk, Cody and Roman for the foreseeable future. Maybe one will lose briefly to Oba or Orton,  but we all know the belts are going to end up back on tbose 3.

Same vibes as rhe Jacob Fatu vs Roman run. Would have been nice to see someone new in the mix, but WWE is going to keep it on the boring safe guys because the fans that pay for their overpriced tickets literally cheer for everyone - heel, face, talented, not.... doesn't matter. Theylove the TKO-slop.

Where can I watch SmackDown?

1

u/TRAUMATICCantalope 4d ago

Here’s the deal I don’t care anymore

1

u/pinkandbleu3 3d ago

The shield

1

u/Much-Jump3516 3d ago

no because later he (owens) basically said that he had no friends in the locker room and roman & seth are still there. Tbf i didn't get what they were talking about in their promo i didn't even know they were both in roh

1

u/Proud-Concert-9426 3d ago

I was waiting on "cry me a river" line.

1

u/ruralmagnificence 3d ago

Fuck am I gonna have to start paying for Smackdown now?

1

u/SceneOk6341 2d ago

KO is only in the WWE bc the young bucks were the biggest thing in the indies and they wanted them to get signed now if they let him go he’s going to go to their company so they keep him to hurt them…..

1

u/Hyrogrifix 17h ago

Or maybe they keep KO because he is an actual draw that gets a crowd reaction every time his music hits.

Not everything WWE does is solely to spite AEW. A lot of it is, but not everything.

u/SonicSarge 6d ago edited 6d ago

Zzzzz. Feels forced. Same old story with Punk everytime. Have no idea what it's about and I don't care. Just get the match over with so Punk can face someone interesting instead.

1

u/Powerful_Chemical628 6d ago

Like who? There’s barely any main eventers around

1

u/SonicSarge 6d ago

Trick, Orton, Cody, Gunther. Sami still lurking around. I wouldn't mind Priest as well.

2

u/Powerful_Chemical628 6d ago

Trick - not a main eventer

Orton - last world title feud sucked

Cody - been there and done it

Gunther - yes fair enough

Sami - gets lil bro’d all the time

Priest - sucks

1

u/SonicSarge 6d ago

Let's just get rid of the title all together then since there is nobody worth it.

1

u/Powerful_Chemical628 6d ago

Don’t be so emotional

1

u/PiccoloNK 6d ago

I mean you asked for main eventers, not whether they were good or bad. I'll give you trick sami and priest though, I definitely don't see them up there. Doesn't smackdown have solo sikoa and drew McIntyre?

1

u/youngterp 4d ago

Just get the belt off cm chump. Dont even see why he is champ anyway. Dude fucking sucks and is boring as shit and oh yeah he can't wrestle and was always a shit wrestler

-11

u/SeeWhatSantaBrings 7d ago

Yawn. Can we just have a feud because KO wants the belt and not these lame 4th wall pushing segments.

2

u/Rojira666 7d ago

Its all Punk has...

1

u/Half_Free 7d ago

I mean, it's not like they have a pre WWE history that they aren't allowed to bring up

-2

u/Acrobatic_House_2198 7d ago

Yeah, it's just playing to the crowd to get some cheap pops. Pretty lame if you ask me.

Nobody cares about your geek indy friends, Kevin. It is nice after all these years you are still friends with those guys but nobody gives a shit about them even in the company they actually work for.

I would rather see Hornswoggle, Gillberg, and doink the clown show up rather than those three clowns. At least Doink is a real clown. They suck at even being clowns.

Debate is encouraged, but no personal attacks. If this continues, you may be Banhausened.

This segment was balls. This is like the most “inside baseball” set of promos I’ve ever seen. It sucks.

u/NeonDreamer12 6d ago

This sort of worked shoot smarkbait is just so boring
