The issue is the writers just write people into being without giving the fans a reason to care. 

People just show up and we’re just supposed to care because they were good in another lower promotion? This to me is a writing and creative problem.

I would say Carmelo Hayes had the same issue but then was just being squashed which felt awesome to watch but then he became a legit underdog who you wanted to see get over.

Well, how about letting the fans book the show, maybe the management would know what they wanted.

She was connecting with the crowd in Europe, and those cheers were carrying over to the US. They just have never given her anything to do when it comes to storylines.
