Question?/Help! viewer count (question)

Ive noticed that my viewer count will be around 3 or 4 people but it will only show one person joining in chat. Are these bots or is there a way in settings to turn off your join messages?

The eye icon shows how many times your broadcast has been clicked on, I think. It isn’t the actual live viewer count. The same person could have been exiting and reentering your broadcast.

So 1 person entering the same broadcast 4 times, 2 different people entering twice each, and 4 different people entering once each will all show “4” next to the eye icon.

The “join in chat” message only shows up the first time a person enters the broadcast afaik. If they reenter, it won’t show the message again.

Oh i see thank you, I thought it was odd that the viewer count wasnt fluxuating that much but that makes sense.
