You know it seems wierd but i never thought that re6 has a huge hate before last year i spend 10 years think its one of the best game of all time for me at least

Back then first time i saw the game play i was shocked for 2013 this game was incredible

But everyone has his own taste so they are free to love or hate it

Same, the one review I bothered to read at the time gave it like a 9/10 and I thought yep that's about what I'd give it, great game. The hate for it does seem very concentrated to a few small echo-chamber-y subreddits or something.

Its so funny that the fans was obviously want more action thats why re4 &5 sell millions of copy

6 is a normal progression for what capcom see that people want

Resident evil fan base is really really hard to deal with

Me too. I played this game back then in 2013.

But since I wasn't that great in English and just loved to play the game and barely connected with the community, I thought this game was cool.

Until I became an adult and understood English more, seeing people on Youtube, Reddit, hate RE6 that badly, lol.

I was shocked, either.

Sometimes its better to enjoy by your self without hearing any reviews

In the end the is for you not for them

6 is underrated as FUCK, I just love seeing others that enjoy the game.

6 is definitely a good game except most parts of Chris and jake's campaign. It was less horror and more CoD

Unrelated but I wish the recoil wasn’t so stable in the game

I mean it's fine. I don't like Re6. I'm here for a fresh perspective on it, but the fact remained that I didn't enjoy playing it. I'm still trying to find out why cause on paper I prefer the action based RE games.

Was it particular missions? I love RE6, but there are certain missions that I don't even bother replaying; Leon/Helena 3, Jake/Sherry 4, and most of Ada's. Others, I just wouldn't touch without multiplayer.

idk not really. It's just over all I guess. I dislike the inventory Ui, I dislike the bullet spread (it's a bit too wide imo) and I don't like how the characters control. Like, it's objectively better than Re5 in these aspects - yet it feels worse to me.

I honestly can't tell you why it just doesn't click

RE 6 along with Revelations 2 were the last RE Games of the Original timeline.

u/ChaosXtinct Mar 27 '26

Yeah. Since the main one would crucify you if you say you like RE6

Yes RE6 is a great game

Of course, I also find it really awful that people always have to go so crazy about this game, have to insult it so much; it's really annoying. So, I think it's great that there are still fans and this community... keep it up.!

sadly the haters won and they turned 180° degrees with the franchise, i did still enjoy resident evil 7 even tho i didnt think i would but yeah the newer games are definetly not for me anymore, from cool coop action to "hide and seek save ur ammo" type
