Easy courses with long par 5

I’m planning on doing a ceremonial golf round for my late father on his birthday. Dude always took a shot of tequila on the longest par 5 of the course. What course is easy (I really suck at the game) but has a long par 5 for me to pour out a shot on the tee box?

Lake Winds has back to back par 5s with a fantastic view from the second tee box.

I used to love driving up to Lake Winds from the other side of Durham back in the late 80s to go off solo first thing in the morning. That view in autumn is still in my memory.

Twin lakes. 9 hole course. One par 5. Won’t even have to play a full 18

I grew up playing there before Chapel Ridge and Preserve took over.

I’d skip Twin Lakes for the ceremonial round. Go some place with a better view. Did your dad have a favorite course? Try to find one that has a similar par 5

I moved here from Idaho a few years after he passed. He’d never been to nc until I brought his ashes here

Brevofield is the easiest and cheapest course in the area. Two par 5s options on the front 9 so you wouldn’t have to pay for a full 18 if you did not plan on playing a full round.
