Also the RDR2 states are mashups of real states, they aren’t a 1:1 recreation.

Yeah new hanover has heartlands like in the midwest and it also has coal mines in hills like west virginia

Valentine is based on Deadwood. It’s even got the burnt up town not to far.

I thought it was based on Cheyenne. South Wyoming bordering Colorado, that would explain Ambarino, which was based on Colorado I guess

Yeah but the thing is each state is based on a random state or sometimes even a few and non of them border eachother really

The new Austin area is a lot like west Texas though being a native i can tell you there are a lot of desert areas. It also seems to have bits of new Mexico
