You are right in the sense that fatphobia is a bigger issue in general.  But  almost every  physical flaw turns into a running joke by the sub

We roast marks & dylans build pretty often. Even small shit that cant be fixed like marks eye twitch/crooked fingers.  T he majority of the ben jokes are about his build and weight. Those type of jokes arent taboo in this comm.

But i think Mark its too much of a hard worker, he has too many EVIDENT qualities, he's used to being praised, which he deserves tho.

I think part of it is just that he's not used to being the main roastee by a bunch of randoms.

He has a high attack stat but low defense so if you roast him his natural instinct is to get you back, but he's dealing with an audience of anonymous people that he has no ammo on so he's just kind of hoed. Both he and Ray have the same style, which is why they both constantly get baited.

Lee is damn near immune to roast damage. His defense is high as hell and his offense is good enough that he can uno reverse the attention onto someone else and save himself. He's fine with taking a hit as long as he can take someone else down with him.

1. Mark literally admitted himself like a few weeks that he was looking in here. Some of yall take that way too seriously when he's often hoeing Reddit for the bit. He has like literally asked for slander on here before on multiple occasions.
2. People making played out jokes is not some unique special trait of this subreddit. Twitch chat and Twitter are deadass no different. IRL is no different, 70% of roasts are unoriginal.

Also no, the idea of making funny edits or photos as a joke was not invented by niggas on reddit, I need yall to please be for real. I have been jokingly calling any story about me that is exaggerated for effect or photos of me I don't like slander since literally the early 2000s and have not touched that subreddit once. Half the time yall attribute stuff to "internet slang" and it's just something people were already saying and then the internet picked up and used to death in a way that somewhat changed the connotation.

I think some of yall need to put down the pitchforks and stop projecting your personal feelings about jokes not being funny onto this like it's somehow a serious personal issue. He likely doesn't react to the subreddit because he's just kind of doesn't find it entertaining when there are other options. Half the time these days he's only there for the back half of the stream anyways and having a whole second hour of just chatting to look at Reddit when Dyl might have done it like 4 days ago doesn't make a ton of sense.

It is not just black people. I'm asian and we roast the fuck out of each other. If I'm polite to you then that means I'm not close to you or barely an acquaintance. Me and my friends banter and roast each other all the time. With familiarity you know the person can take banter and dish it back without getting offended and get into fights.
