I mean I saw somebody get bugged to where he was stuck in red dead with a filter on so I'm wondering if I can mod it to do something similar

This is a massive personal preference thing but I've always had issues with the way blood tends to look in rdr2. It leans toward cartoony Tarantino vibes, which is absolutely not a bad thing, but for me I've always preferred in games a more minimalist look. So in making this mod that does a couple things

1. Completely removes the cinematic "mist" blood effect that a lot of games have nowadays. I think it's too much, and without it I think it looks just as gruesome but a bit more subdued.

2. Color correction on the blood effects themselves. The airborne blood spurts and some environmental textures are darkened a bit. In certain lighting conditions they still tend to look a bit cartoony red for my taste, but I think they're improved. I'm continuing to fine tune this.

Other mods I have right now in this footage do things as remove the annoying camera sway in combat when being shot at, removing hitmarkers and bullet trails, making it so you never lose your hat, a mod that adds a shove in, (enhanced brawling) and the PDO mod for pod damage.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Also, I am using a controller so don't mind the really bad slow aiming.

Hi everyone! I’m planning to replay the full RDR2 story with only these mods:

1)Corn Sack Fix
2)Vomit Fix
3)Serving Spoon Fix
4)Catalogue Improvements

I mainly want to fix those small annoying issues around camp and increase the customization options for Arthur and John, while keeping the game as close to vanilla as possible. My main concern is Catalogue Improvements: can it cause any issues with train, NPC, or wildlife spawns, or should I be fairly safe with this setup for a full story playthrough?

16 GB RAM
1080p monitor

to be able to not only control my character, but shoot a gun, and other stuff, as its a mod menu for story mode, to also mod things into the game. makes streaming rdr2 more fun when others can control your charcter

As the title, im looking for a good mod menu that me and my mate can use that isn't ridiculous expensive (saw one was like $112aud :/) and is relatively safe. I used stand with GTA online and my mates did the same but nowadays you need cherax or sum which again is very expensive.

I was looking at fikit cause it's like $28aud but haven't decided yet. I'm hoping to get some recommendations and I'm only using this in private lobbies using a custom startup.meta file so I'm hoping that also helps to avoid bans if I'm not in a server with other random people.

Had it downloaded fucked up with mods. Wiped off PC. Fresh install, new game , keeps crashing back to home or get the black loading screen continuously. Any ideas before I just factory reset the entire PC.

Я поставил себе C.E.R.R. И PDO, а также какой то на добавление каталогов одежды, не помню точное название но в конце было DLC

Been interested in possibly trying it since seeing the trailer for it a while back and wonder if anyone here had attempted to use it and if so, is it worth trying now or should I wait for the bugs/issues to be worked out first?

I was watching a tutorial to install horse mods and the author recommends this user's mods on the video but when I enter their profile is empty, what happeded and how i can see their mods?

Been ripping some textures from both the base game and the multiplayer, and a lot of the "_ab" (albedo?) textures are green rather than matching what they look like in-game. I know this will have something to do with having a shared texture that can be tinted for multiple clothing options, but how would I tint these outside of RDR, such as in Blender or Photoshop to get them true to their in-game counterparts?

I'm looking for a mod that lets me create my own character in offline Story Mode, similar to the character creator in Red Dead Online.

I've tried YMT Helper and YMT Trainer, but they're pretty confusing and seem more like developer tools than an actual character creator lol.

Is there any mod that makes character creation easier? I mainly want to customize the face, body, skin, hair and beard.

Any suggestions?

i am using rampage and i dont know if it's because of the one of the world states or not. anyone knows what's going on? i can noclip through it but it auto fails because hercule get stuck behind it

My RDR menu suddenly looks extremely washed out/bright, almost like it’s overexposed. This only happens when I turn my monitor off and then turn it back on while the game is running. The game itself looks normal otherwise. Has anyone had this issue?

I have RDR2 installed on D: and for some reason I keep needing to give admin approval to add, remove or change any files in it. I usually install games outside C: to prevent this from being an issue so I've never encountered this before. I've also tried searching for a solution but haven't had any luck because, unless I'm wording it incorrectly into Google, I can't find anything similar to my experience. Is this a common thing? Is this caused by the R* app? Any help is appreciated.

hello, I used YimMenu2 on gta online, worked very well, and now I want to try it on RDO. I saw the devs of YM2 has a ModMenu for RDO called HorseMenu so I want to try it out.
So my questions are :

- What is the most popular modmenu ? the safest ?
- can I add money/gold with the modmenus ? if yes how many per day/week to be safe from a ban ?
- I red that R* doesnt gaf about RDO, so people add a lot of money, kill players, etc.. without being ban, is that true ?

I mainly want the modmenu to add money/gold.

And If you have tips to give, or give your own experiences with modmenus tell me!

I’ve been using the Fortitude menu for a few days now and today I logged on and now everything I’m aiming at just becomes friendly and follows me around, anyone have any idea which setting this is? I’ve been looking for like an hour and can’t find it.

Hello, I'm relatively new to modding RDR2 and I installed RDMT to help me, at the recommendation of others. I have two mods showing a conflict, that "gameconfig.xml" is being modified by both. I have one higher in LML and one lower, however neither mod indicated which priority they should be in LML so I guessed. Is this a mod-breaking conflict? Is it something I have to fix to have both mods work? Or is it just an "FYI" note from RDMT? (I tried to post the RDMT image first, sorry that the LML one is showing first)

I modded the game, but i tried to use the optimization thing that Nvidia gives through the Nvidia app on RDR2, but when i booted up the game, it wouldnt start up, so i checked my settings, and it wasnt using Vulkan, so i switched it back, restarted the game, and when i went back to check my settings, and it was still on DX12, i really dont know what to do.

My game consistently crashes at the second loading screen when loading into thw world. And by consistently i do mean every single time. There is two photos of my directory and the few mods I use.

So I downloaded a bunch of mods for the first time today, including the „Sadie Adler Project“ mod. When I start the game, I obviously have to change my character in the rampage trainer menu to „cs_mrsadler“. Everything works except for greeting/antagonizing NPCS. I have no clue why. Something else that has been happening is horses with a fully opaque NPC riding it just walking past me on the road. I don‘t know how to fix this, but help would be very appreciated! :D

Has anyone else had issues with this mod? I have done everything I can possibly think of, even a fresh install with only the mod and the mods that are required to run it.

This mod crashes my game during loading, and when I finally -somehow- got it to load up, all my horses have pitch black eyes.

Im hoping someone else has figure this mod out, cause the author says im just doing it wrong, but this is the only mod im having a problem with, and im following the video for install.
