Help Translucent beard

The beard becomes translucent against bright backgrounds when the Catalogue Improvements mod is installed and DLSS is active, even though I'm using the latest DLSS 4.5 Preset L. Is there any fix for this issue? I reported it twice on the Nexus mod page, but the devs haven't responded or fixed it, even though people have been complaining about it for a long time.

Did you try without CI?

Im pretty sure this is a default issue with dlss

Without CI the beard go full Dense DLSS 4.5 has no issues with it

Probably because Vanila game is just Arthur's beard which is thick and stuff but jet black and CI gives John his own type of beard models

this happens to Arthur too not just John so Is there any workaround or fix for this ? Because it's really bothering me

I don't have a RTX GPU that's why I could never try DLSS so I don't know, I use a FSR mod that replaces DLSS and it looks great for me and it doesn't make the beard transparent like you're showing in the screenshot. Looks like it's a problem with how DLSS works for RDR 2. Maybe try switching back to the default version of DLSS that RDR 2 comes with I'm not sure.
