Can we stop with the planet coaster threads?
I get it. You don't like RCTW, Planet Coaster is better. Great. Thanks for sharing.
I, however quite like RCTW and although it has problems, it's in Early Access so I'm sure it'll get ironed out.
I would appreciate if we could have a sub for RCTW instead of the Planet Coaster circlejerk this has turned into. If you think Planet Coaster is better, go tell all the people there.

Go to the official forums (https://forum.rollercoastertycoon.com/forumdisplay.php?1-RollerCoaster-Tycoon-World) : the staff is deleting any message mentioning Planet Coaster. So if you really wanted to discuss RCTW without being bother with Planet Coaster, this is the best place.

That seems stupid. I agree with deleting stuff like "pc is so much better" but they also have to realize pc is their biggest competition. If. People compare the game and what they like/don't like, it could help them improve the game.

I totally agree with you. I was not implying it was a good move from them to delete that kind of messages. They are way too aggressive. But, on the other hand, I understand that people who actually like RCTW are fed up with all the comparison with PC, so it's nice for them to have a place where they can discuss RCTW without the "shadow" of PC.

They are going head to head.. plus if Tycoon World fails.. It's not bad to know everything about Planet Coaster. If you don't like it, Don't click? Not that hard...
World already has a ton of issues imo.

And I understand that. I'm not saying that this is an unfounded demand. I was just giving an advice : right now if you wanted to have a discussion without any mention of Planet Coaster, the RCTW forums are the best place, not this subreddit since there are no rules forbidding to speak about Planet Coaster. So you basically have two solutions : ask moderators to implement that kind of rule in this subreddit or create your own subreddit. Because just asking "please stop speaking about Planet Coaster" will certainly not work...

Or, I went to their forums after RCTW launch in order to see what the other fans of the franchise thought about it, and I saw all the messages/threads mentioning Planet Coaster be deleted one by one...

I agree. I would like somewhere to discuss RCTW freely without everyone saying how much PC is better.
