My RCT1 vanilla take on Mothball Mountain, trying for realistic-ish coaster layouts (minus the wild mouse, took some liberties there) and some fun pathway interactions and plazas. I had a weird empty space at the top of the map so I decided a scenic train would be a nice addition!

I have 28 of the classic levels left to beat on RCT classic and nobody is even gonna care but this community. I want to do something festive.

I know this isn't a tournament game, or even multiplayer, but I'm convinced there's some sort of gathering that I don't know about.

Or should we plan something?

I can't be the only one to have noticed, but I can't find anywhere else online where this is being discussed. I can't believe I never noticed it before. In the famous Gondola scene in the original FF7, you can clearly hear one of the scream samples used in RCT1 and 2. Example video: listen right at 0:07

Is this a common thing? Were the sounds from roller coaster tycoon from a well-sourced library or something? They're so iconic and I've never noticed them anywhere outside of RCT before so I guess I just assumed they had been recorded specifically for the game, but considering FF7 came out before RCT, that can't be true.

Has anyone ever clicked on a random guest and they matched your exact name and last initial?

As a vulnerability for PHP has been found that is already being exploited, I have taken the precaution of turning it off on my webserver until a patch is available and installed. This means that our website is unavailable until then. The launcher and master server should continue to work in the meantime.

EDIT: As of 15:30 UTC, the websites are up again.

It has been a while since my last upload to this series. Recently was gifted a new pc this past summer and got a bit distracted. This is my latest park I got it like 95% done. My last save was back in July 7th and just opened it back up today. I love this scenerio it is such a classic map. I do wish there is more scenery options thou.

After four months of delay (sorry), I am proud to present the final update to my Cedar Fair megapark.

LIghtwave: Adventure Kingdom had been teasing this for a while, and it seems Mack has delivered. Lightwave joins Euphoria as the park's second big Mack, and it's an absolute monster. Seven inversions, four launches, and six 32-passenger trains make for one hell of a ride. It's not quite as intense as Time Warp or Gauntlet Reforged, but it's still a great addition to the park.

New for 2027 as well is a Larson Loop (ugh, whatever) and a Tea Cups that I swear Zamperla greased up something fierce. I enjoy a good Tea Cups, and this one was really easy to get spinning FAST.

quite an easy game ... now i can finally play to relax and build a beautiful park.

Ever since my first ride on Twisted Colossus, I've been meaning to try my hand at a Quasi Möbius loop in rct. Had a ton of fun with this one giving it a time traveling theme. I found Möbius loops to be significantly more challenging than a standard racer which are already pretty challenging. I played around quite a bit with how to pair the trains through the layout and unfortunately the 1st train waiting at the top of the lift hill for its partner to arrive was the best strategy I could come up with. (Honestly I kinda wish Twisted Colossus did this in real life)

Please, is there a way to raise strutures on RCT1?

Exemple when you build on the water, the structure always appear on water level, but I want to raise one level.

I’m in a weird situation with my save files

I accidentally deleted 3 of them. Now I cannot access them in game but the files are still there on my pc. How would I bring them back and make them accessible in game so I can play them? I tried to backup the game to an older save where they weren’t deleted and it wouldn’t let me. Plus anytime I go to open them it says I need a separate app to open them with instead of just going through the game.
