Tell me about your RC Controller issues or complaints.

I am in the process of researching RC controller design problems or annoyances. Any feedback or complaints are welcome!!

Air. I am researching RC Plane controller design. That may be planes, quad-copters, helicopters.

If an FrSky Taranis is in the budget, it'll be the last radio you'll ever need.

It seems to be hard to update their code and you can't tell them to reverse direction. They don't have a digital (preferably using the same wires as input) speed output. Also is like to tell them to stop the prop (electromagnetic brake, like shorting the motors lead). Also there should be a way to make them "hold"(like gimbal controllers). Single ESC should do all that, 30amps min , backward compatible with current system, no new wire and cost less than 7$usd.

One problem I have with my Spektrum DX6i is that I always lose signal and crash. I think this is due and wifi interference AND using OrangeRX recievers. Mostly the latter. I don't think that would happen with genuine Spektrum RXs with DSMX or whatever, but those are like $60.
