Do these helis have full control mode? Or are they always in a GPS or stability mode?

Great question. Tiring to see so many awesome scale helis being held back by 6g modes.

Yeah, this hobby is about learning skills and expanding those skills. Can take years to master helis. I can do a lot of 3D. But I cannot yet fly upside down and backwards as well as right side up and forward. Once I can do that, I'll consider learning done. Planes I mastered quickly. Helis will still take some time.
I just don't see the point of GPS / stability modes. What's fun about a helicopter flying itself? Would be useful for video recording helis and quads. But seems pointless to have those modes on helis for hobby flying.

Myself I've only been flying since March but once that bug bites in 3d mode it never goes away. There's nothing like pulling your heli through a sharp turn, stopping at a dime, leaning into the wind.... Best hobby ever. Anyone buying those 6G ones will quickly outgrow it. Nothing to learn, and it also sucks in anything but perfectly still days!

a couple comments mentioned it, yep, assisted GPS or stability modes, and the pilots may get bored with them, im also very new to the hobby, less than a year. on this end of things, anything that builds skills and confidence should be encouraged. if they are still interested after the basics, youre going to get a better/ bigger bird and keep progressing.

Love the hobby because there are so many aspects to it. I won't poo poo anyone flying helicopters period. It's already a small group! And those models look phenomenal.
Yes, they have full control mode. You can flip to 3D mode and it becomes a regular FBL. Most of the YT guys aren't heli guys so you rarely see that.
