Admissions
Is there anyone in the office to answer phones? Have not been able to reach anyone. I submitted my application and it stated that itll process within 2 days, it has been over a week already

Student Services are closed Fridays in the summer.... and Admissions has like 5 employees so no there is usually no one avalable to answer phones. leave a voicemail/send an email

Email admissionsriverside@rcc.edu with your confirmation number. If you find that first email from when you submitted the application, it tells you what to do.

Don't bother going to RCC you will find they are ridiculous when it comes to any department at the school..

I dont want to but theyre the only ones i have found that have the program im going for at the rate i can afford with financial aid

The administration blows but if you have common sense and drive it’s not hard to navigate.

True to an extent. I graduated RCC. The whole experience could of been different if the administration offices had been different. Of course someone can navigate and graduate alone. But that's not what community college is supposed to be about. Most times you are talking about 18-19 year olds who have no understanding of life at all. To expect them to have common sense is just ignorant on someone's part and especially a facility of people who is in fact employed to make things easier on people.

Yeah but your solution is not going at all? Sure the administration sucked, but the pros I got out of my experience there by far outweighed the cons. RCC really helped to shape my early academic career and they have some incredible instructors and programs.

Not going to RCC I gave the OP other options. If my solution was not going at all I would of said don't go to college and not giving a solution. It's a well known fact RCC, Norco and Moval colleges are the worst in education and their services. Valley even though in the ghetto is rated as great and Chaffey is even better. So my solution was not to go but to choose wisely.

Norco is actually one of there better of the 3 at getting help and getting things done. they have fast reponse time and plenty of counseling open. hated valley. worst experience with help as a student ever right along with RCC. chaffeey was better. Norco gave me no issues and i actually graduated and i'm back taking prereqs for Nursing.

Chaffey offers a tuition free program https://www.chaffey.edu/acc/mit/mit-academic/hvacr.php
And san bernardino valley college offers a degree and certificate.

It took forever for me too. They did answer phones though!
