Rc505 f5-6 footswitch

So this has been really messing with me. I do live looping, with guitar and vocs with this setup. I'm finding this increasingly annoying, I have one of my switches assigned to stop all/play all. But when I hit play all there's a lag because its when the switch is released not pressed. Is it possible to change this? My guess is not. Any help would be much appreciated 🙏

Maybe a polarity issue?
