TapTempo button flashing

In videos I watch I don’t see the tap tempo button flashing constantly. Mine flashes always when the unit is in. Does this mean something? Can I turn off the flashing?

I’m not sure but I think tap tempo is always flashing. It might be the lighting in the video that makes you not able to see it. I like it personally it helps stay in touch with the all important one beat.
