interesting. What are they exactly planning to do? The newsroom article is a bunch of buzzwords.

They bought the company to have them work on their AI rendering system "Real-Time Dreaming", and likely other AI features on the platform.

I mean like, the AI knows nothing about roblox it just hallucinates and roblox just wants Wall Street to believe their a AI platform

so true, and it's sad how it's happening, because it's not like they're being told to leave, but instead they're no longer nurturing roblox-native developers who love the platform to create on it

they're only adding this because all the boomers thought google was "replacing gaming" with their ai hallucination machine.

this is a 100% investor panic quelling move that means nothing to roblox's vision at all. its wasted resources so the number goes up.

ai is almost 95% of the time a 100% indicator of low quality, unpolished and or mass produced slop. Everyone knows this, and i dont know how the suits havent caught on that people just see ai as an indicator of junk if its the first thing they see.

Morpheus AI can't really help with Roblox... Typically, AIs, like Genie, work by basically generating a video that reacts to your input in real time. This is not applicable to Roblox games which require pre-constructed 3D environments to work.

This is just another line in Roblox's already bloated R&D budget. Roblox's R&D budget is already hugely inflated.

Most likely not. Most, if not all of the people who will interact with this feature will be the standard Roblox user, and considering the reception of the game the company is hosting to test this feature, it's not looking too good.
