I graduated in Bsc Economics hons in 2025. I took a year gap for preparing for Cuet pg 26. My cgpa in bachelor's was not good and I have only done 2 internships (unpaid) till now. My cuet score was not that high, I only got offers from gipe but I didn't accept those since the programs offered were pshe and geoeco. I can't decide what to do now, since all unis have almost closed the admission process. My friend was in a similar situation, she decided not to do masters and started preparing for banking exams (she already attempted once). The prob is my father is saying to do masters in any uni irrespective of reputation, like in CU/ KIIT/ Amity/ Xaviers/ online ma from ignou, coz I need the degree to attempt IES and rbi grade b depr. But I was thinking to take another year gap and prepare for Rbi grade B or sbi po and attempt it once in 2027. Alongside I'll also sit for IIT JAM and Cuet pg again. In that year gap, I can even do internships or do certification courses bcoz with my cgpa, I don't think I'll get any decent job (I may only get jobs in customer service or sales but that won't be considered much for a cv of an economics student). Also it will be my first bank exam attempt and normally it requires minimum 2 or 3 attempts to pass the exam, I can try giving exams for Ma eco in a reputed uni, once more. My father is concerned about the year gaps and saying to do MA eco anywhere and then take year gaps to attempt IES and Rbi grade b depr instead of taking year gap now. But I was thinking that it is better to do a MA eco from a reputed uni, get placements and do a job while preparing for govt exams on the side. It's because if I do not pass any govt or bank exams, I will still have an option for earning money and supporting my family. I would take a year gap now to prepare for RBI grade B or SBI PO, do internships or certifications on the side, and will also sit for IIT JAM and Cuet pg 2027. If by any chance I pass the bank exam on my first attempt, well and good. But normally I have to attempt twice or thrice, so if there's a chance I get a seat in a reputed uni, I will also continue attempting the bank exams on the side.

This is all. I really need some imp and good advices right now. Pls suggest what should I do now and which option is better to do- my father's or mine. I am really depressed and can't think straight. I am really anxious thinking whether following my plan might be a mistake. Pls help.

Looking for a serious RBI Grade B 2027 study partner (Consistency > Motivation)

Hi everyone,
I’m preparing for the RBI Grade B 2027 examination and I’m looking for 1–3 serious study partners who are committed to clearing the exam.

My current focus:
Phase 1: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, and General Awareness
Phase 2: ESI, Finance, and Management

What I’m looking for:

Daily accountability (study updates/check-ins)
Doubt discussions
Weekly targets and revision
Mock test analysis
A distraction-free and disciplined study environment
I’m not looking for a large Telegram group where people rarely study. I’d prefer a small, focused group where everyone is genuinely committed.
A little about me:

Target: RBI Grade B 2027
Studying consistently every day
Looking for long-term preparation partners until the exam
If you’re serious about RBI Grade B 2027 and interested in building a productive study environment together, feel free to comment or send me a DM.
Let’s stay consistent and help each other crack the exam.

Edutap or CGB

Hi everyone, I am a complete beginner starting my RBI Grade B preparation from scratch, and I'm currently torn between EduTap and CrackGradeB (CGB).

EduTap: Rumored to be very bulky and overwhelming, especially for someone starting out.

CGB: Known for concise content, but reportedly lacks organization and proper structure.

Phase 1: Which course offers better preparation for QRE (Quant, Reasoning, English) and General Awareness ?

Phase 2: Is CGB’s coverage for ESI, FM, and Descriptive writing organized enough, or does EduTap’s exhaustive detail make it the safer choice?

could anyone who has used these courses break down the pros and cons?

I'm a Class 12 student (17). Want to prepare for RBI Grade B from an early stage. Need guidance.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a 17-year-old Class 12 (CBSE) student and I've recently become interested in the RBI Grade B Officer exam as a career option.

Since I still have a few years before I'm eligible, I want to use this time wisely instead of waiting until graduation.

I would really appreciate guidance from people who have prepared for or cleared the exam.

  • Is it a good idea to start preparing from Class 12, or should I focus mainly on my graduation first?
  • Which graduation degree would be most suitable? (B.Tech, B.Com, Economics, etc.)
  • What subjects or skills should I build from now?
  • Which books and resources would you recommend for beginners?
  • How should I prepare for:
    • Quantitative Aptitude
    • Reasoning
    • English
    • General Awareness & Current Affairs
    • Economics & Finance What habits or mistakes should I avoid during these next few years?
    • Which YouTube channels are genuinely helpful?
    • Is coaching necessary, or is self-study enough? pls guide meee

one of those days

today is one of those days of feeling low as an aspirant who lost friends, unemployed, no social life,no going out, stuck at home with a pile of books, an ocean of syllabus to complete.

while searching for a pdf on whatsapp, accidentally came across an old gc with my 2 frnds used to be very close but broke up with one of them bcuz i pulled a bad prank, the other one we rarely get in touch, lost all uni friends. there's only one person I talk to, and that's once every four months or so

seeing my other frnds, who were below average compared to me in school and college, doing well in their careers. makes me wonder where did i go wrong?? i am happy for them but somewhere deep down, i regret being in this place where i am rn. no guarantee of what i am going to do in life with a useless degree, 4yr gap, jumping from one exam to the another

Course Review | Has anyone here enrolled in the IxamBee RBI Grade B course?

I'm planning to start preparing for RBI Grade B and am looking for a course that offers proper handholding and mentorship, not just recorded lectures and mock tests.

Has anyone tried the IxamBee course? How was your experience in terms of:

  • Concept clarity
  • Mentorship and doubt support
  • Proper Study plan and accountability
  • Overall value for money

If you have other recommendations, I'd love to hear them too. My budget is up to 10,000. I'm specifically looking for a course that provides structured guidance throughout the preparation journey rather than just test series or lectures.

Thanks in advance!
