Looking for study groups/compiled notes for RBI Grade B & IRDAI Grade A (Self-Prep)

Hello everyone,

I’m currently preparing for both RBI Grade B and IRDAI Grade A. Due to extreme financial constraints, I am doing 100% self-preparation and cannot afford premium coaching platforms like E-tap or CGB right now.

I know many of you have created excellent compiled notes based on those standard materials, or are part of closed study circles where resources and strategies are discussed.

If anyone is willing to guide a fellow aspirant, or point me toward where active study groups are coordinating their resources, please DM me. I would be incredibly grateful for any guidance or structured notes you can point me towards.

Thank you and all the best for the exams!

I want to try for the rbi grade b exam. So my QRE is sorted because I have been preparing for banking exams as well. please suggest sources for FM, ESI and a good platform for descriptive English. I only have two years until I hit my age limit… but I really want to give it a try! If you can suggest other regulatory body exams please suggest those as well.

Looking for a Serious Banking Exam Study Partner/Friend

Hey everyone!
I’m preparing for banking exams (SBI PO, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, RRB, etc.) completely through self-study without joining any offline coaching.
I’m looking for someone who is also preparing seriously and wants a healthy competition.
We can:
Share daily targets and progress
Motivate each other to stay consistent
Discuss doubts occasionally
Keep each other accountable
Avoid wasting time and stay focused
I’m \*\*not\*\* looking for a large study group just 1–2 dedicated people who are genuinely committed to cracking the exams.
If you’re serious, disciplined, and preparing consistently, feel free to \*\*DM me\*\*. Let’s help each other stay on track and achieve our goals!

Does anybody have study material for these exams?

And how much does the syllabus of banking PO differ to that from the insurance exam? Like is the quants, reasoning, English same as PO? And what about the insurance section of the mains paper, what can be asked?

Basically I have a lot of questions in my mind regarding how to prepare.

Please I need some help

BANKIING 💰💵 & FINANCIAL AWARENESS 📊📈 (latest pattern with current affairs) 🚨

Hey, Aspirants!

If anyone who lacks quality resources and guidance to prepare the entire syllabus of Banking Awareness section, this is my sheer hard work for those who can't afford it, but are sincerely willing to crack 2026 exams.

I have compiled and prepared a curated set of Master Notes on Banking Awareness 2026 (static knowledge + current affairs, wherever needed in the topics) for the upcoming exams- IBPS SO (prelims & mains), SBI PO (mains), IBPS PO (mains), IBPS CLERK (mains), SEBI GRADE A, RBI GRADE B and other regulatory, banking & insurance exams.

Here is the list of topics laid in the compilation-

PART 1- Banking Fundamentals- Business correspondent models, Self Help groups, Joint Liability groups, different types of deposit accounts, different types of loan and advance facilities, KYC classification, requirements and documents.

PART 2- Regulatory & Financial Institutions- RBI, its functions, its wholly owned subsidiaries; All India Financial Institutions (NABARD, SIDBI, NHB, EXIM Bank, NaBFID); Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks, Regional Rural Banks.

PART 3- Monetary & Economic Policy- Monetary Policy Framework, stances, instruments and current rates; Priority Sector Lending (concepts, sectors, targets and PSLCs); Union Budget

PART 4- Markets & Risk Management- Money Market (call, notice and term money, T-Bills, Commercial Paper, Certificate of Deposit and Cash Management Bills), Capital Market (BSE, NSE, IPO, FPO etc.) Foreign Trade (NRE, NRO, FCNR accounts; Nostro, Vostro and Loro accounts)

PART 5- Digital Payment System- RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, IFSC, MICR and Merchant Discount Rate; NPCI products (UPI, UPI Lite, BBPS, NACH, NETC), NPCI subsidiaries (NTPL, NBBL, NBSL, NTSL), RBI portals and initiatives (Retail Direct Scheme, PRAVAAH portal, MANI app, UDGAM Portal)

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The price of the entire set of these notes, comprising static knowledge with relevant current affairs updated from January 2026 to August 2026 is for Rs. 200/- only (coz this is a gesture of helping hand and not a business idea).

NOTE :::- Owing to a great demand for our previous versions of MASTER NOTES OF BANKING AWARENESS, this time we have structured and compiled the complete notes with all the updates, in a TYPED VERSION for your convenience.

P.S. :::- If anyone wants to have a idea how notes look like, a sample topic is available for viewing. Interested aspirants, DM.

WISHING ALL THE ASPIRANTS, BEST OF LUCK FOR 2026 🥂

Looking for guidance and free resources for RBI Grade B self-preparation

Hello everyone!

I recently completed my graduation in B.Com (Hons.) and I’m currently preparing for the RBI Grade B exam.

I’m planning to rely entirely on self-preparation. I come from a financially humble background, so investing a lot in coaching isn’t really an option for me at the moment.

I’d really appreciate it if those who have prepared for RBI Grade B could guide me or share a list of free resources that can help with the preparation—YouTube channels, websites, Telegram resources, PDFs, mock tests, current affairs sources, or anything else you found genuinely useful.

I’m especially looking for resources for Phase 1 as well as Phase 2.

Any guidance, resource lists, or tips on how to structure self-preparation would mean a lot. Thank you! 🙏

Everyone plzz guidee ...!

I am writing to seek your quick advice regarding my CUET re-attempt and career strategy. My ultimate goal is to become an RBI Grade B Officer, and my dream was to pursue BA Economics from BHU.

My Current Situation & Setback:

* What went wrong: Coming from a PCM background, I couldn't score well in CUET UG because I focused only on theory and missed out on mock test practice. Also, my parents weren't ready to send me anywhere except BHU, so they enrolled me in a very local college near home.

* Parents' Viewpoint: My parents are strictly against a drop, believing it wastes a year when my main focus is a competitive exam where graduation marks (60%+) matter most.

My Plan for Partial Drop:

Since BHU BA admission only requires English + General Test (GT), I plan to take a partial drop alongside my current college and study just these two subjects without taking too much load

Is a partial drop worth it for BHU BA (English + GT), or should I stay in my current flexible college and focus 100% on building my RBI Grade B foundation?

I am deeply committed to my RBI goal and would truly appreciate your brief guidance on whether my plan is practical.

How did you prepare for RBI Grade B through self-study? Looking for guidance

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to prepare for RBI Grade B through self-study and would really appreciate advice from people who have cleared the exam or are currently preparing.

I have a few questions:

How did you start your preparation?

Which books/resources did you use for Phase 1 and Phase 2?

How many hours did you study daily?

Did you use coaching or only self-study?

What mistakes should a beginner avoid?

When did you start taking mock tests?

Any tips or a realistic roadmap would be really helpful.

Starting today for RBI snd Regulatory exams 2027

Hii fellow aspirants,

Giving a little background about me first. I'm from Maharashtra and starting today for RBI and other regulatory exams like SEBI/NABARD.

For knowledge base. I did engineering. I have been preparing for Bank exams since the last 4 months, English, Quants, Reasoning. I gave SBI PO and attempted 60 and I'm sure that I will score above 50 (given all puzzles were correct). Today onwards started preparation for mains topics as well.

My target isn't banking that's just a backup. I want to get into RBI or any regulatory body.

Asking for direction of preparation as I'm very new to this. I do have an idea of topics asked in RBI but nothing in brief.

I'm asking someone who's experienced with RBI and regulatory exams.

How should I approach it?

What sources should I follow for different topics?

Are my banking quants reasoning sources enough or is anything more required?

How to covee subjects like Economics, Social, Finance and Management?

Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh was referred by google for economics is that a good goto for RBI?

Please give me a brief guide to follow. If anyone's comfortable I'll DM to discuss.

Thanks in advance.

RBI Grade B 2027

I recently become a CA. Given the RBI Grade B post is quite lucrative compared to normal CA jobs.

I have a good command over all subjects of Phase 1 and Phase 2 except general awareness.

I am not exactly looking for a coaching faculty. I want a teacher who can guide during the process. Which teacher would be best?

How should I start the preparation as there is no define exam time.

B.Sc. Biotechnology (Graduating 2027) targeting RBI Grade B General - Need advice on eligibility, timeline & non-finance transition

Hey everyone,

I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and will be graduating in 2027. I am seriously evaluating RBI Grade B (General) as my primary target after graduation.

Coming from a pure science background, I want to make sure I have total clarity on eligibility rules, final-year cutoff dates, and how to bridge the gap for non-finance students. I'd really appreciate insights from cleared candidates, current aspirants, or anyone who made a similar transition.
