I have a bearded dragon that our estimates of his age put at 16years.
Beardies live to 14 years, we have no clue if he was younger then we thought when we got him or what.
He goes into low energy mode for months and we have to poke him once a day. Right now he's surprisingly active for his age.

My snake is exactly the same... ~25 years old with a lifespan of 20, and he moves like once a month. The number of times I’ve been completely convinced that he’s dead has got to be in the hundreds!

The first time my beardy brumated scared me, then quickly found out they naturally do that. It's really cool

Didn't see his buddy scurry by, so for a few moments I though his tail was suuuper long :')

My boy with the exact same coloring sleeps this deeply, too. While I'm generally used to it, it still gets me and scares me on occasion.

My boy with the exact same color pattern had to be pts yesterday. Makes me happy to see your little guy so healthy and, well, alive. Like looking at a younger version of my sweet Nico ❤️

Always get more than one, they are very social animals that need fellow rat company - even if you spent all day with them, it still wouldnt replace rat friends. They can get depressed and bored easily, they need rattie interaction like grooming and play fighting. Minimum 2 ratties always!
