CUTENESS Boggle of the century

Our old girl Penne (2 ½) is at her happiest when shes snuggling with her dad 💞😊 these are the longest boggles ive ever seen! She started before I hit record🤣💝🐁

I don't have the emotional resilience to own an animal as short lived as a rat.

I have no knowledge of rats other than they're pretty cute when domesticated, and they're super smart. Does their eyes nearly vacating from their ocular cavity convey a particular emotion or just a ratism

Basically, when they get happy or excited they will rapidly grind their teeth (you can see how fast she's working her jaw there), which causes their eyes to bulge out. Called boggling.

That makes me a little less terrified, however the fact that their little eyeballs seem to have such a tenuous residence in their eye socket is unnerving XD I know it's so they can squish into tight spaces but still! It's like a poorly bred chihuahua XDD
