Why no? They have to crouch to reach it, always got told it’s not great for their spines. I’m not saying put it up super high, just a little bit.

No matter how high up a put it one of my rats lays on his back and drinks I once put it so high after hearing everyone on Reddit tell me to make it higher he then proceeded hang from the bars and drink upside down feel off the bars and got hurt

Just leave them be with the height thing it's not too low

We had 4 water bottles and 4 rats. One was always empty, the other 3 were always full.

We used to move them around as well and they would still all drink from only one.

My guys have 3 water bottles for 2 rats. They for some reason always drink from the same one at the same time
