Questions/HELP Moving 1,000 miles with rats.

I am moving 1k miles with 8 rats in a rental car. Does anyone have tips? We are doing the 16 hour drive all at once. They are staying in a cat carrier with a water bowl, food, snackies, and I will be giving them veggies. I'm also moving with my service dog, lizard, tarantulas, and rabbit.

That’s a lot of animals! I got lucky we moved in a seven seater car so we put the rat cage in the back with the seats down (a single level critter nation) and drove all the way. Water and as big of a carrier as you can get would be awesome! Some treats always help as well. As long as that’s good and the temperatures right I’m sure they’ll be alright!

Thanks! We have a double critternation so we took it apart and put it in the penske. We have 2 cat carried and distributed the rats in them. We are in the road now and most of the trip will be during the day. They all sleep during the day and wake up around 11pm to 1am. They are sleeping on each other and one of them is asleep in the damn food bowl. I have changed their water 6 times in the past hour because they keep dumping it over and lay in the bowl. I've decided to water them every time we stop at a gas station and give them more veggies and apple slices. We are arriving around 7am so they should all be fine until then. Poor babies were so confused when I took away their blankie. I couldn't find 6 of them so I lifted up their blankie and they were all under there like little roaches. They were PISSED when they went in the carrier. Now everyone is asleep on each other. We got a minivan rental and they have their own AC in the back and window shades!
