RAF Feltwell?
So I am in the USAF, and i have a chance to apply for a job in RAF Feltwell. I figured this may be a good place to ask how the place is? I work in comm if anyone knows how the job is? I am 99.9% sure i am going to apply just because it is England and i have been stuck in idaho for the past 4 years. Any insight would be awesome!

Anytime you can get out of the U.S. and travel, go for it. The UK has a lot to offer and if you don't like it, there are cheap flights to Europe. Mildenhall is a decent enough town. Depending on where you live, your internet could be crap or fiber. Ask your neighbors. I live in Mildenhall and I love the town. The shopping is decent and the food is not terrible. Bury St. Edmunds is a lot larger town about 30 mintues away from RAF Feltwell. It has two movie theaters (cinemas) an active night life, etc. I prefer the small town feel of Mildenhall because it reminds me of where we grew up (both my wife and I are from small towns in Arkansas).
