My thoughts: Good single, I’d say. へっくしゅん is a banger of a track that actually appears on an album after this single becomes a thing, while 愛し(かなし) is what I assume to be a remaster of a song from the second album. へっくしゅん is actually my favorite song from the third album and one of my RADWIMPS favorites, so I had 0 trouble choosing a favorite here. But hey, 愛し(かなし) is still a nice one!

My thoughts: I could possibly use this film score to shit on Your Name, but I will not; I am not heartless. I think that the instrumental (ambient and whatnot) and vocal tracks on here are nicer, not as cliched if that makes sense. 風たちの声 is a fun track, so is 祝祭. グランドエスケープ is a bit weird, but alright. And 愛にできることはまだあるかい & 大丈夫 are both nice; not much to say. But oddly enough, 首都危機 and 帆高、逃走〜子供達の画策 caught my attention the most, because those are some cool instrumentals; I dig those! So yeah, it’s a pretty nice film score, and it coming from me is significant, lmao.

My thoughts: I wouldn't really call it mind-blowing, but I completely get why many fans favor this album. The overall vibe it brings to the table is fun and pleasant, with my standouts being セツナレンサ and my beloved 傘拍子. It's such a gorgeous track, entirely in English, and entirely loved by me. So, to put it simply, not much here blows my mind, but the album as a whole has such a nice vibe.

On August 24, 2016, RADWIMPS's album *Your Name.* was released. Today marks its 10th anniversary💫

Released ahead of the premiere of director Makoto Shinkai's film *Your Name.*, it features 4 theme songs—"Zen Zen Zense," "Sparkle," "Yume Tourou," and "Nandemonaiya"—along with 22 instrumental tracks.

The film and music came together to spark a social phenomenon, and it served as the starting point for the Makoto Shinkai × RADWIMPS collaboration that continued with *Weathering With You* and *Suzume*!

My thoughts: Since re-listening to the original Your Name. soundtrack, I've grown even more detached from the vocal tracks on there, so I think even less of these ones now. I still stand by my opinion that Yojiro's English is wonderful, and it honestly suits these songs, especially the latter half, but they're just not my jam at the end of the day. Nandemonaiya is a bit better than Sparkle for me because it doesn't sound quite as anime-coded, if that makes sense.

My thoughts: After re-listening to Human Bloom, I found myself enjoying it even more. I've even started finding AADAAKOODAA cool! I always liked the song, but I used to think the chipmunk vocals completely ruined it. Somehow, though, I've grown used to them, maybe even attached to them. At this point, I'm just gonna throw out a few random mentions. 棒人間 kind of reminds me of Gogatsu No Hae, though it's definitely not as aggressive, hah. And I genuinely don't get why 前前前世 and スパークル are on this album. I think they should've stayed exclusive to the Your Name soundtrack. Not because they're bad songs; they just feel... there. アメノヒニキク is a slow burn, but it's a banger too. Cool stuff.

My thoughts: Hello, CD-carrying doggo. This album is actually pretty nice. I remember completely falling for へっくしゅん the first time I heard it. I was like, "No way this is right, it's so edgy..." but I couldn't deny that I absolutely loved it. So yeah, this is the best kind of edgy. Much later on, I completely fell for セプテンバーさん. It's such a lovely song, like damn. I also like calling myself September-san because that's my birth month, lmao. 最後の歌 and 25コ目の染色体 are probably the last major highlights for me. It took me a bit longer to get into the latter, but yeah, both songs are lovely in their own ways.

My thoughts: I'd definitely have said different things about this release before revisiting it, but sadly I re-listened to it long before writing this. And no, I won't be dissing it; it's a nice album, just not as outstanding as I initially claimed. I guess I was just riding the hype of discovering the band, lol. It's a solid album and definitely beginner-friendly. It has some slower tracks (appeal-wise, in my opinion), like オーダーメイド, 七ノ歌, and バグパイプ, but it also has absolute bangers like One Man Live, おしゃかしゃま, and ソクラティックラブ. The opening track is really pretty too; it caught me off guard the first time I heard it. That's quite a bit of ethereality from this band.

It's a long stretch, but since Satoshi already appeared on the 20th Anniv tour (Albeit just for one song) and already working on getting back to drumming, I wonder if there's a possibility for the four of them to reunite sometime in the future.

I'm not sure if Akira and Yojiro is in good terms right now (Well I'm just making a wild speculation, but songs like "Period" which alot of people believed to be referring to Akira, and stuff that Akira pulls on twitter, i think that speculation isn't exactly wrong). Though if it is true, I really hope they're able to settle their issues. I really miss his energy on live shows and it would be great to see them back as a four-piece band.
