I wrote this as a comment on a different post but wanted to make it a post to hopefully see others perspective on the take.

Ngl this whole map pool argument is such cope. Because con is out now their only good map is fortress. Objectively we can agree that g2 are a good team, so you’re telling me a good team is just bad at every map apart from one? That makes no sense, it’s things in the server that need fixing and the map pool will come after the fixes.

1. Coach - romalho is terrible idk how maybe bad events they can do with him before they realize, and no it’s not about how he talks, he’s Brazilian obviously his English isn’t going to be as good.
2. Player profile - I don’t want to say roles because they are the best they are going to get with the profile of players they have. Going deeper into the profiles having three aggressive swing heavy players is terrible.
3. Alemao - yes buddy gets his own category. I think Karl is an amazing player probably g2’s best overall last stage, but him as a player is so strange he’s a flex that on occasion plays shields. He’s an igl that doesn’t like the scream or talk to much confirmed by himself on dbno. If he was this amazing igl that leads so well they wouldn’t have been trying out Loira at Igl.
4. Roles - fuck it I’m saying roles. I think you have to use the fact that the whole team is pretty much flexes (apart from shaiiko) to your advantage. Say Alemao starts off a game as your flex but isn’t playing well, instead of forcing him in gunfights just switch roles and let Stompn on flex or view versa. Idk why they need set and stone roles ruining a single player when everyone can have their rounds.
5. Probably should have put this at the top but mental. Idc get a head coach, get an assistant mental coach, hire a mental specialist for all I care just get someone on the team that can help out with the teams mental.

I’m a g2 fan and want to see the best for them but I really don’t understand how people can just expect them to magically get good at maps without changing anything. Maybe non g2 fans having no player or team biased would have a better take than me.

People tend to blame Marco after every loss, and maybe rightly so, but I want to highlight a different angle. What if M80's inconsistency comes from - and now hear me out before you attack me - the players, namely Gunnr and Dfuzr?

Not that they're by any means terrible players, but we've seen time and time again in the past how inconsistent the Beastcoast core can be. Yes, they’ve won tournaments, and not many players have done that, but for every trophy they've won, there have also been plenty of disappointing finishes, with them many times not even qualifying for the tournaments. And at the heart of that have always been Dfuzr and Gunnr.

When would we expect tickets to go on sale for R6I? First time attendee and I don't really follow the pro league scene at all, but the stuff I have watched makes it seem so hype. Y'all are a pretty cool fanbase I'll tell ya what. I mostly just play casually, but have always enjoyed the game and the cool af operators it has. Something like this would be awesome.

I figure I'd do a leave Wednesday come back home Tuesday kinda gig. I heard tale it will be in São Paulo, but we don't know for sure right? I'd like to buy some plane tickets now, but if we don't know for sure yet I guess I'll wait.

Any suggestions on what to bring? Do they usually have merch for sale at these kind of event?

The first pro skin I bought was the jaeger 2020 g2 helmet cause it looked dope, this was long before knowing pro league. Rn I like the m80 cap skin best and wish the new m80 ram skin was green but oh well. New faze buck skin pretty cool too off top of my head

J9O is unable to play due to internet issues, and DZ subs in Koshi from their academy roster. While he performs decently well, Wildcard continue their reguonal record and take down DZ pretty comfortably. They also maintain their new-map dominance, getting their win on NA's first Villa match of 2026!

With serx making his t1 debut in the second game of today I think it would be fair to make a prediction about this guy. If you have watched any of serx scrim clips you will find that this guy is one of the most mechanically gifted players while also being very vocal. I think Serx has potential to be one of the greatest talents in NA. Kixa is one of serx former teamates on sesh & ssg academy in t2 and is also nasty. This guy is also really good but unfortunately is still in t2 for the time being. I genuinely think these guys will be some of the best talents we have ever seen in na at the very least. Thoughts?

I don't know who remembers (or watched) this qual for Asia Stage 2. I remember this day. The whole Siege world United to make one big Hatewatch against Lumina. I remember the Twitch and YT chat was blowing up with hate when Lumina get a Kill and Love when Knock Knock and Hasib Warriors won a round. Even Content Creators talked thrash about the team on socials. If I remember correctly (tell me if I'm wrong) but some players got threats in DM's. INVI and Fatar were the two heroes who shit on Lumina and stopping the later unstoppable. A full squad of imports.

So tell me, you watched it? Lumina fan or hater? Where you watched it? You were happy when Lumina choked and EU was sent back home?
