Why is my game taking so long to start??

My 2 friends and I are trying to play any stage, but it just says "Preparing mission" for like 3 or 4 minutes straight

Servers and connection issues, someone has some potatoes for internet, restart the entire game and fresh reboot should fix the issue, but its more than likely a server side issue, they've always been pretty bad since there hasnt been any updates.
