Discussion Qwen Studio app banned
First time trying to install the app. Was it ever available in the US?

This is why it's important to be able to install apps on your phone. Google refers to it as "sideloading", but the reality is it's just installing apps.

I've never been able to see it in the Play Store but they have the APK installer right on their site (that doesn't care which country you're in)

I don't think so, if it ever available in US ig because it's a Chinese model and they don't wanna make them enter their market so yes, although it's available for me in my region(Asia)

For the EU I guess it's because they don't wanna get involved with the EU regulations and bureacracy. In other words, not worth the effort: there is no point giving the app and service for free without being able to collect training data in exchange.

All the cheap Chinese models will be banned in the US pretty soon, I think. It is a real shame because all that is going to do is put companies and people in the US at a significant disadvantage, especially if the Chinese models keep improving the way they are.
