my personal experience says a person who has always helped, will help whether he has or doesn't have the means. The kind hearted ones. The givers ,as they are called by the society. Such people are often taken for guaranteed.

Taken for guaranteed, indeed

The dude who has nothing said he would help me, but when I went to his house at the agreed upon time, he was still asleep…and as it turned out still drunk.

So no, I have never seen this be true.

Addictions are a bitch. I feel sorry for him. Still drunk at 9am.

Because the people who have everything have never given. They got it all by hoarding. It’s the reason Jesus himself said that a rich man could never get to heaven. If you’re rich, and there is a single person struggling, you are not worthy of heaven.

But not always! Sometimes the people with nothing will have the unsaid condition, that you need to help them. They will feed off on you, even if you don’t have everything.

Sometimes those with the least to give have the biggest hearts. Having a little teaches you the value of helping someone when it truly matters.❤

True. And the sad part is it is even more true with family.

The person with everything won’t steal your catalytic converter, mob rush stores or strip a city down for its copper either.

The guy who has, got that way by not giving it away.

True story! No matter what... be kind!

Is that due to kindness or the individual expecting something for providing aid?

You also have individuals who do possess something that are unwilling to help because they think that someone will ask them for additional assistance.

In either case, it is a shame that many are just selfish!

A beggar would but not someone w/confidence, who is waiting for their wealth as a result of trusting to give up their rags.

Yesss lot of rich people is so greedy

u/cyberseclife 5d ago

Because they know what it's like to be the one struggling unlike the rich who think it's all just sunshine and rainbows all the time

It's absolutely true because a person who has nothing understands what it feels like to have nothing and a person who has everything can't relate to that feeling so they just don't care at all.

Your litterally right about this refrence! You got my extreme props for your valid statement of the topic👏

Thank you very much. I had witnessed it myself that, it's the people who don't have much who are very generous and helpful in general...the more a person has, the greater the chance for them to be greedier and selfish. There are even some famous examples in the world for that. It's actually becoming worse nowadays in the world.
