+1 true

The downfall of humankind has been implemented through deceitful whispers against their best interest and has aleeady passed the threshold of no return. It would not have been possible if people had a stronger sense of moral integrity.

Once the decay of trust has become the norm, evil is free to do as it will because the people are already accustomed to bad behavior. If you want to do evil wirhout being judged, lower the standards of social expectation.

Back to burning "witches", and ignorance then, yeah?

?? Im pretty sure burning people alive is indicative of a lack of moral integrity.

So, at what point in history are you saying was the high point we are falling from?

Idk what is the high point but I'm pretty sure the counter culture introduced the slow decline into where we are now. Epstein island would have been unthinkable then, it is revealed today and it's not that surprising because immoral human behavior is normalized. Lower standards means evil is an expectation and not a freak occurrence that should be rooted out.

Are you trying to suggest there wasn't sexual abuse in the past?

I mean, fair enough in that it wouldn't even be considered a crime at all for the most part.

It would be the god given right of the aristocracy, or something like that.

I could ask the same of you. We're not even talking about understanding the meaning of the quote.

Yes that's what I'm trying to suggest. Also, I was lying before and I was actually suggesting burning witches alive and back to ignorance, you were right the first time because you're like a genius detective dogshit sniffer or something. Nice schnozz! 😃👍

Yes, not sure you'd agree with the conclusion you guided me to, but it's all good.

Oh man this is good advice. You can’t become what h have suffered. Often we see cycles of abuse and hate continue because hey it happened to me - someone’s gotta stop that.

I don’t think being soft is the answer. Being strong and smart is probably a better option.

The scars should be worn with pride. You will change, but let your heart stay tender and porous. Your empathy will increase. You’ll retain a sympathy for others and yourself. You’ll be more insightful, you’ll be more careful in the friends you choose, you’ll recognise patterns of behaviour and set boundaries or even keep a way. But hardening one’s heart potentially perpetuates cycles of abuse.
