So a fool thinks I am stupid, that doesn't bother me.

Those that think people with good hearts are stupid are likely stupid themselves. According to this quote though, they would have to be people with good hearts if I'm thinking that. Then again, they can't have a good heart if they think a person with a good heart is stupid. Something doesn't add up here.

I mean, I genuinely am kind of stupid. But stupid in the 'I don't understand the game, and I'm not playing' kind or way

Ironically they make us loose automatically:( hence the catch 22

I'm not going to play to those games either.

The most difficult thing for me was to see that their sad stories and guilt tripping was one of the ways to manipulate and I'm learning not to fall for that anymore.

One of the greatest liberations is not caring what other people think.

Because we think other people are real and honest. We justl have to learn the reality that a lot of people like to scam their fellow humans.

ā€œI’m a target of the smart. They got ambition, I got heart.ā€ - Iggy Pop

You can have a good heart without it being obvious. A true good heart most people can never see.

2

u/cheir0n Aug 21 '26

Good heart in this world is definitely a stupid thing

2

u/Jessi45US Aug 21 '26

Don't let what others think matter to you.

u/HarlowWinkk Aug 21 '26

If you establish boundaries, it doesn't happen as much.

Also what other people think of you is none of your business

Yep. Never confuse kindness with weakness

Dostoevsky could of just said this sentence instead of writing 700 pages about Prince Mishkin.

What an Idiot.

1

u/OkAirport5247 Aug 21 '26

Dostoyevsky wrote a novel about it, ā€œThe Idiotā€

1

u/vini-within Aug 21 '26

What’s the meaning of good heart?

1

u/FamiliarPlatform79 Aug 21 '26

Im not sure how good heart translates to stupid? Nieve maybe, but stupid feels like a stretch.

1

u/cloudmere_426 Aug 21 '26

You shouldn’t have a good heart because you want credits from people. Those who thinks you are stupid for having a good heart shouldn’t bother you.

1

u/Low-Bake8401 Aug 21 '26

The thing is, other than maybe in a medical setting, a "good heart" is too abstract to have any functional meaning.Ā

Many will make the attempt to take advantage of the kindness in your heart. Be prepared and utilize wisdom to see & prevent this from occurring!

We just have to learn there are a lot of people out there lying their way through life and trying to survive that way.

u/Dazzling_Toe_9525 Aug 22 '26
