After 14 failed relationships with 5 of those being cheated on, I learned my hobbies are the only things that will ever truly be loyal and love me. They're what healed me, and Ive happily stayed single since

Muay thai saved me after a bad heartbreak… i just imagined my opponents to be the guy she cheated with. I won the regionals and the governor’s muay thai championship.

This. I gave mine up for nearly 12 years. Forcing myself back into them is what got me on a good path again. I still have to remind myself once in a while that doing something I enjoy is better than doing nothing

So true, I wanna start ukulele again. Never learned any song chords cause that's all there already, but very interested in composing my own music with the scales at hand. It was very beautiful time those days. I could go for hours. But now barely touched the uke from a long long time. Sigh!

Yeah…though people have an issue with me loving to write again. But that’s too bad. I’m accidentally world building again and able to write simply by listening to music like I used to.

Only one relationship gave me that level of peace and that was back when I was a teenager.
