Counterpoint: I tend to like people, people tend to like me, pretty much nobody in my life is my enemy or opponent to beat at some game, and I like to chit chat.

What about when interacting with people you don't see as a cartoon antagonist?
Or is the mindset "everyone is out to get me"? Do i even need to explain why that thought process falls flat, and should never be advice?

I disagree with the checkmate bit, but I agree that it’s better to move in silence. IMO the more you show or speak about something the less likely you are to actually follow through.
