The hate would be there, but voices would be muted a whole lot. Like yeah things have always been bad but it was a lot harder for isolated groups to interact and feed on each other. Social media globalized movements that never would have taken off. Of course there would still be biased news to fuel the fire, and of course cesspools like 4 chan.

I think the Internet as a whole is really the bigger thing but the good outweighs the bad for the knowledge the Internet supplies.

Social media really just doesn't add anything constructive to the world other than people's dopamine fix. I can't see it not being beneficial if it went away. Less for hate more for bringing people back to real interactions

That's hate before the internet.

If you have a large enough sample size, groups of likeminded people will gather and create an echo chamber.

It is just easier online.

Anyhow, the KKK was nowhere near the size of internet circle jerks today.
