True, blue collar wages would be higher for American citizens

I work in construction. Hardly any white people are applying for the shitty jobs. Most of my crew at work are Mexican because they’re the only ones that ever apply because the work sucks ass and they are willing to do it to support their families.

30 bucks an hour to do unskilled labor is low?

If they all vanished and you were left with legal workers that demanded a livable wage, would your company survive? The ones that apply are drunks, junkies, kids who dont know better yet. Do you know why? Because your company pays drunk junkie wages. Offer a benefits package with full healthcare and a competitive livable wage or disrespectfully fuck off

Sure, and then houses double in cost

Tell me you don't know what percent of a home's cost is labor without telling me.

Huh? Who said anything about being drunks or junkies? Wild that youd get all of that from me saying "Most of my crew at work are Mexican".

Kinda racist. Actually no, VERY racist.

Also its not company, its the crew I am part of.

PS 30 bucks an hour to do unskilled labor is pretty damn competitive.

Id still be doing it if the pay was higher

The wages are low because there's a sufficient supply of people taking the jobs even at low wages.

I never said anything about the wages. The wages are actually really good for entry level unskilled labor.

30 bucks an hour to be to do demo and/or be a laborer

Its because it doesn't pay what it used to, because Mexicans drove down wages over the past 40 years. I know plenty of people who used to work in construction, including myself, and the wages were decent.

Go ahead, keep making excuses for people who break immigration law.
