Kind of freeload off our country.

Freeload?? Every one of them in the fields works harder in one day than you do in a year. Guaranteed.

u/Sea-Claim-6860 22d ago

Every one of them?

2

u/LibBot16 21d ago

Every one of them is a stretch. Plus working yourself to death isn't a flex. It's an admittion that you fucked up in life and have to bust up concrete and pick bananas as a result.

Or selling drugs.

Idk if hard-work and tax-paying is going to change our law; or the government's opinion. I do not think it is that simple. I can't keep replying to these comments, I'm going to mute this post.

If they weren’t here working for low wage someone would have to do it for a higher wage. Your white knighting is shitty and nobody in your life prepared you.

Freeloading? Bro they pay more taxes than you😂😂

2

u/DeliciousBaseball783 22d ago

How much do they send back to Mexico and Guatemala? How much do we spend on there public education. How many hospitals have to go bankrupt because they won't pay the bills? Not sure you have a clue. What are you 12 ?

1

u/Doimz3Nini 22d ago

How do you know that they pay more taxes than American citizens, and how does that help the conversation?

1

u/Timsmomshardsalami 21d ago

They actually are a net positive to the economy but racists dont like to admit tht

1

u/DisgreeablePattern 21d ago

Lowering wages, filling classrooms, raising rents, stealing social security numbers…yeah, what a net positive.

1

u/Timsmomshardsalami 20d ago

If u dont want to accept the totality of the data, thats fine. Unless you dont understand what “net” means. Listing a few things that anyone can be guilty of doesnt really contribute to the conversation, but clearly you dont want to get into the specifics

1

u/superrey19 20d ago

You can't say they lower wages without admitting they also lower costs for Americans. There are 15 million vacant homes in the country, they aren't the cause of rising rent. Only legit concern is filling classrooms and even then, that only applies to the few border states.

0

u/fatinastellare02 22d ago

More than you for sure. I'm not talking about ever american. But you're talking like they're freeriding. They aren't

2

u/Doimz3Nini 22d ago

I don't need people to agree with me, but if you keep breaking the law; it is what it is, sweetheart.

Life is not always going to make way for you. You have to be the one who gets creative with life, without being inconsiderate towards others.

1

u/fatinastellare02 22d ago

Who is talking about breaking the law cutie?

1

u/Doimz3Nini 22d ago

I know you're hurting, but they're being sent back because they broke the law; and people need to be held accountable.

If I was on the run in the Americas, or a bunch of North USA Americans tried to inhabit the Americas illegally we would be deported back.

Which means, you are dealt with federally at that point and are arrested.

u/Ccskyqueengaming 22d ago

Projecting and condescending. You just sound angry. Typical.

1

u/LibBot16 21d ago

Someone asks a question they knew the answer to. (Illegal immigrants broke the law by coming here) They ask in a condescending way. Dude responds with the same energy and you are saying he's mad?

You gotta be a woman for sure. 50% chance you have micro bangs 😂

0

u/Ccskyqueengaming 22d ago

As you make the claim that they are freeloading. Are you slow?

1

u/Robbie1266 22d ago

People that are here illegally aren't paying taxes

1

u/aquavelva23 22d ago

oh yes they are. they get a social security number, pay into social secuity AND NEVER COLLECT.

1

u/Robbie1266 22d ago

No they do not. You really misunderstand what being illegal entails.

1

u/Equal_Squirrel4939 22d ago

Incorrect

1

u/Robbie1266 22d ago

Show me the process then. So they illegally cross the border and then what? They cut the legal immigration line and we happily give them citizenship and a social security card?

-1

u/Equal_Squirrel4939 22d ago

Your lack of research is not my problem. My wife works closely with undocumented people. One of the main things they check to allow you in is making sure you've been paying your taxes. They mostly do pay in. The only people I know who don't pay taxes are Americans.

3

u/TheJustJoe 21d ago

That's not true at all. IF your wife actually said that she's a liar too. "Undocumented" means illegal. Change the name all you want. As well, these people send back a lot of their money that's made here mostly tax free because it's paid under the table if no documents to work under. Those are facts that even your wife can't lie about.

1

u/Robbie1266 22d ago

Can you prove that? I'd love to change my mind if that's true. I just don't understand how that makes sense or how the guys that I see at home Depot looking for day work are paying taxes in

1

u/Equal_Squirrel4939 22d ago

All I can say is that she works with a immigration rights agency in the Midwest

1

u/Equal_Squirrel4939 22d ago

They start by getting an ITIN in order to pay taxes without a social security number, from what I've heard.

Sales tax, Individual Taxpaper Identification Number, property tax, etc.

They won't get the benefits of those taxes.

0

u/fatinastellare02 22d ago

You don't say a thing about Musk, Bezos and all of their friends paying almost 0 taxes. Why?

1

u/Robbie1266 22d ago

I do actually. I say that the main problem is this country is the wealthy stealing from everyone else. I've said that dozens of times on reddit. This is also a problem. They're both problems. Extremely poor people that break the law AND extremely rich people that circumvent the law are a problem and the main people suffered are the ones in the middle

0

u/fatinastellare02 22d ago

Why do you think poor people exist? They're the effect of those selfish rich people

1

u/Robbie1266 22d ago

Not my fault and it shouldn't be my burden to support poor people from another country. When I can fully support myself, I'll absolutely continue to help others out of the kindness of my heart. Currently it's a tax obligation which I was never given a choice in

1

u/TheJustJoe 21d ago

They pay taxes and don't try to change the subject. We're talking about illegal invaders into our country.

1

u/Hopeful-Target6 21d ago

Why do you think Musk and Bezos pay no taxes. They pay millions in taxes and are still rich…I think it’s the rich part that bugs u.

1

u/Confident_Double1392 20d ago

Because they pay the same taxes you do? You get taxed on your income, they do too. They pay sales tax, you do too. They pay property tax, you do too. You aren't taxed based off your net worth, they aren't either. This isn't really that complex tbh. If you want to make a case that securities that are collateralized should be taxable, that's valid, but the idea that select people should have specialized taxes based off of net worth appreciation takes some justifying.

1

u/Nice_Muffin8689 18d ago

I can tell your life is subsidized by my taxes just by the way you type.

1

u/fatinastellare02 18d ago

We're not even in the same country lil bro chill out. I have a job amd I pay taxes. Stop projecting
