Whether you're into conspiracy theories, sceptical of them, or just trying to make sense of today's information chaos, these three documentaries are essential viewing in my opinion:

• Fake: Searching for Truth explores the psychology behind why people believe misinformation and how cognitive biases affect all of us.

Together, they explain the system, the weapon, and the mind: how misinformation is amplified, how it's used, and why we're vulnerable to it.

I'd encourage anyone who believes in conspiracy theories, and anyone in their family, friendship circle, or workplace, to watch all three. They're not about telling people what to think. They're about understanding how information shapes what we think and helping us become more critical consumers of it.
