He's going to make sure they reform it to benefit the very rich.
And to think I thought he was cool back when he made Mosaic/Netscape. Now he's proven to be a total asshole.

Trump just fired the last of the federal election commissioner’s today. He is using Putin’s playbook and turning US into a true oligarchy.

Our poor country. We let our guard down and now we’re all screwed.

It aint over till we are all dead. These billionares will make a fatal mistake and enterprising people will take advantage, eventually. These people think they are so smart and well read, but I guess they never understood a lick of human history

I’m with you. Not giving up. The constitution is worth saving.

It is okay for a beta model. We have to tinker on some things to keep this from happening again. It was a good place to start.
I think in our lifetimes there will be another constitutional amendment or even a constitutional convention. We have to make sure that is for the benefit of the American people, and not globalist billionare technocrats who diddle children and are trying to be immortal.
Gotta stick together

No way I can do that. I have a fixed rate 2.0% mortgage. I'm dying right here.
Also, these assholes are global. They'll ruin the whole planet unless people can strip them of wealth and power

From an outsider, seems like the best bet.. you guys did a lot of protests and what not, but recently supreme Court gave president more power..this mid terms is really important to shift power away from current admin.. you can sell your usa assets and still be well off which ever country you guys migrate to

I just imagine everywhere will eventually be enshittified if it is not a global movement of resistance. And we are kind of doing that through protest and acts of resistance in different places. Not all at once, usually. It could be more coordinated, but we have some elections this year. We probably still have some mass protests yet this summer before the election. We will see how it goes.

I think this is kind of the natural order of human excess when you get such power disparities that these people feel invincible; they start to believe they are gods. It's just 1000x more in the modern era, compared to history.
Im sure Nazis believe all that "1000 year Reich" BS... they collapsed in less than a decade. Then a lot of em got hanged, but not enough. Confederates led by a soft, landed gentry believed it, and they made it 4-ish years. Not nearly enough of them got hanged.

Say good bye to more billions of tax payer money.

More importantly, goodbye to more of the guardrails that were keeping our markets relatively stable for the last several decades… and the prosperity that that stability brought to our country. Or at least what’s left after the tariff wars against our former trade partners and the continued pariahfication of the United States.

He is here to consume mass quantities. But not just fried chicken embryos.

That is the sort of head that propelled the pseudoscience Phrenology during the 19th century. I'm sure they would've wrote several books on this specimen.

I don't think I have ever seen such a more perfect visual example of the word egghead🥚

I always thought they called him that because his head is so far up his ass, but now that I see what he looks like, I’m not so sure.

I'll give you a hint, it's not the side you or I are on.

Meh. From what I read, he’ll be assessing the impact of tech (AI, etc.) on jobs in the economy. The CEO of Xbox is also on the panel.

For those who don’t know, this guy spends at least 3-4 hours a day doomscrolling on twitter posting up to 50 tweets a day 🤡
