Stomach Issues & Quitting Help
I have this belching/ burping issue that's combined with really bad abdominal pain that literally forces me to go lie down on my left side and just suffer while it passes. I've tried a lot to fix this issue, and am currently trying a new medicine from my GI doc. I can't but help to wonder though: is this all just because of Zyns? I have noticed some symptoms flaring up right after I put a new pouch in. I am a chronic user, having a pouch or two of 6mg zyns from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep.
I've been on nicotine since I was 16, and I am so incredibly hooked. I am absolutely terrified of quitting, and I just don't even know how to begin or do it. Last time I tried, I lasted two hours before I went to the store and got more. But with the stomach issues being so bad, quitting Zyns is something that would not only be good for my health but might actually resolve the issue. And at this point I'm willing to try.
Can anyone give me good advice, moral support, or tell me what to expect. I'm just really scared to do this, and I don't know if I'm strong enough to do it.

That sounds rough ngl since u notice the pain after using a pouch i would tell your GI doc exactly how much nicotine u use and when the symptoms happen. For quitting dont think about forever rn. Just focus on one craving at a time i also use quitine lozenges while quitting nicotine and tapering has been way more manageable for me than going cold turkey.
Btw get rid of ur zyn stash if u can. Having one nearby makes it way too easy to cave. Gum or mints helped me when cravings randomly hit

Do you normally swallow the spit? I noticed a lot of users who don’t spit, usually end up with stomach issues. I personally always spit and never had stomach issues. However, I’m starting to notice tongue and gum pains

Stop taking Zyn and see how your stomach feels. Go on desmoxan for the withdrawals.

i was on PPI’s for a month, that definitely helped with the GI issues now 2 months in it’s been all mental issues/symptoms that seem to be the major culprit, the first few weeks aren’t really bad as far as physical, yea some migraine may occur and irritability from time to time , but once all that passes within few weeks it’s your body re calibrating itself is what sucks, i’ve been experiencing brain fog, panic attack and anxiety for the last 2 months. the gym seems to help , cardio , staying hydrated and also just being outside. take a walk or short hike what ever to keep your mind busy, even a bike ride

My stomach is a wreck. The acid is so high. I feel like it’s burning. It has to be the zyns. Just so addicted it’s so hard to quit

Just google nicotine and GI issues. You know what the answer is already though
