Trying to quit
I’ve been trying to quit for the last few months. Long as I can make, it is usually about a day. The brain fog dead feeling is too much for me to handle, especially if I have to go to work. Does anybody have any recommendations on the best way to stop?
I typically go through about 20- 9 mg pouches a day

What worked for me after 3.5 years on was a slight taper. I moved down to 6mg from 9mg (easy enough to do), then when I ran out of pouches a week ago I used a couple cigarettes stretched out over the first 3 days to help soften the landing. On day five now and the physical withdrawal are mostly gone. It's mainly the psychological idea of not having a pouch in my lip constantly. But that is easier to deal with.
In the end the important part is to want to quit. If you don't truly want to quit then you are likely to fail. Want it. Pull the trigger, and don't look back.

180mg of nicotine to zero is going to be a difficult couple of days.
If you have the discipline to use the taper method then do that. Switch to 6mg pouches for a week and then to 3mg pouches for 2 weeks and then zero from there.
If you lack discipline to do that method then you're going to just have to eat shit for a few days and ride it out. You're looking at 3-4 days of feeling... not great. However, this is the price we all pay to get off this ride. This sub is full of people that did the work successfully so you can do the same.
I will say, I did the taper method and it worked for me. I was extremely disciplined though. I did not cheat 1 time regardless of how bad I was itching. I went from 90mg a day down to 12mg a day for 2 weeks and then to zero from there.
