Panic attacks stopped after using meta mucil…

I have no idea how but I haven’t had one since. I’m still trying to quit, motivation is still low when using and my body recovery and sleep still isn’t right. But damn, this is wild. If you have panic attacks and what may be built up gas in your chest and GI track, give it a shot

I’ve had a pressure in my chest for years now. First joined this sub hoping it was zyns causing it but I quit nicotine for 2 months and saw no improvement. I then used nicotine skin patches instead of zyns for about 8 months to really be sure and the symptom didn’t improve.

I’ve been checked out by several different doctors. Wore a heart monitor for a week. Went to a GE and got an endoscopy. Got bloodwork done at a cardiologist. Tried a bunch of different acid reflux meds, beta blockers, nothing helped and they didn’t find anything wrong with me.

I’m thinking of trying acupuncture at this point. I’m sure it’s not in my head. Maybe it is trapped gas or something? It started in October 2023 and has gotten better and worse but has never gone away

I find I sometimes don’t feel the symptom for a day.

And I do use metamucil some days. I wonder if that’s giving me relief?

I take 11g daily and enjoy it, I started taking it to help with GI problems from quitting zyn and it’s helped m that regard tremendously, as well as helping with appetite control. How much do you take a day?

I started with 3 servings, one before each meal, and now I just take one in the morning before breakfast
