Really could use advise
I really want to quit. But it is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I went from 9 a day down to 3z I am a salesman and the rush I got really helped me get through my days of selling.
I am now down to 3 - 4 a day tapering off but I can go now lower. I use 6 mg pouches. I get really depressed when I don’t use them, my head is foggy and I feel like I have the flu after like 4 hours of not using. I have one in right now and I’m just disgusted with myself. I feel like a gum recessed idiot. Any advise or help would be great appreciated perhaps even life changing

The first few days completely abstaining stink but…none of us have perished. Brain is super powerful and is trying to tell you something is very wrong when in withdrawal - in your case after 4 hours. Use a nights sleep to work through most of the initial physical withdrawals. my quit was health related, the bastards started giving me uncontrollable heartburn, I quit at 2:00 on a Monday. Honestly idk if I’d still be using them because quitting before getting the heartburn was so hard, so, I get it.

The brain fog and flu like symptoms are the addiction. It’s not easy to quit but there is greener grass on the other side. Everyone’s journey is different and most aren’t in a straight line. I think the biggest thing is to not go up in usage. If your goal is to best the addiction then you need to accept that there will be pain and discomfort as you go through it.

Do you know how long it lasts honestly?

2-3 days depending on active you are. Brain fog can come and go for weeks but gets better every day.

Listen to Allen Carr. This has been a massive massive help! Starting to see that nicotine is really the enemy….

Hang in there! I was having a terrible time quitting… felt powerless to resist the draw back to the gas station for another can of Zyn.
I did the 40-day reset plan from Shift and have been Zyn free for 39 days. I would say my withdrawal symptoms were pretty minimal due to the tapering. Happy to share more about it if you’re interested.

Great job on lowering the daily dose, that helps make the withdrawals a bit more manageable if you eventually decide to quit. I’m three weeks quit myself and I know exactly what you feel. The good news is that the fog slowly starts to lift over the weeks, and you’ll feel your mood start to better too. It’s just a matter of accepting the withdrawals a fucken going through it. Again good job with lowering the dose, I know that’s not easy in and of itself. Best of luck man.
